About this mod
Skin rework of Camellya that gives her a more aesthetic look with more balanced colors. Unlike most of times, I deviated a bit from the base design but I can assure you all the new details and colors were carefully crafted with the upmost quality and she will now be more pleasant to play for those like me who used to dislike her appearance.

--- This mod has just received a first fix to make it fully stable for 2.0 game version! Update it if you haven't done it yet. My other mods will slowly get the same treatment, please be patient as it really is a tedious task ---
I'm sure some of you will be very pleased about what's rolling out of the white rabbit hole today! I'm a bit late to the party compared to other Camellya mods that were rushed after her release but after a lot of sweat, here is my take. Frankly... I hate this character! Unlike almost all my previous work, I just dislike everything that emanates from her. Her mind, her dull story and espacially her look. Clearly not a fan of frilly stuff, I hate when hair color is the same as main outfit color, everything is almost white, I hate those unatural non-sense diamond eyes, the childish short haircut, the immature mood... To conclude, yeah, I find her quite unattractive. Although, despite all this I had to get her because I needed bad another powerful hand to clear the middle part of the overdrive zone. And if the only things I could appreciate about her character was her fun kit, her high dps and the way she moves/attacks, it's no surprise I had to work real freaking hard to make the rest less irritating! So I had to consider all aspects of the base design one after the other to keep reducing the unpleasant feeling I had when playing her. A week and half later, I have to say it's almost entirely gone now... mission accomplished?!

- Full rework of leg/low belly stockings into dancing suit + worn out / torn stockings
- Straps on body clothes now have a golden lining
- Belly button moved to a lower position (Still anatomically too high but better than vanilla)
- Torn clothe pieces/leafs on hips corrected (white to red gradient like the other)
- Shoe heels going dark (Probably an omission here since that existed elsewhere in data)
- Incandescent effect on skirt removed (before yelling, read explanation below)
- New subcolor inclusion and subtle distribution accross the model (desaturated dark green)
- Additions/corrections of metallic areas (ex: see those shoulder/collar new chrome lines)
Well, as you can see we have quite a bunch of edits here! Even if I edited the 3D model more than the usual, the main game is always to make that new flavour essentially by improving textures. You know that already if you follow my work but I don't fancy importing new models or limb parts from another game to create my mods (unless something is really off), I'm more of someone who try to keep the general shapes KuroGames imagined in the first place and just alter the mood or the aura with light and colors.
I needed to say I fully created the stockings texture from zero, took me hours and hours. I just hated the initial (clover?) pattern. Those clover leaves doesn't look like camellya flowers or leaves. The pattern just look dumb and childish (even toddler stuff) and I think that poor choice give a sloppy allure to this area. I spent a whole day on them, trying many different things (including 4-5 thorn patterns that didn't work out) finally landing on torn tissue/stockings with the help of many references (Jane doe from ZZZ). Preserving shadows and finding the precise color tone that goes well with everything else without going too dark was also an ordeal. Each pixel² was ultimately manually painted using to my former illustrator skills!
About the incandescent effect. I know for most of people this fancy VFX moving stuff might looks amazing and all but when you think about it, it is clearly discordant here. I mean why? Yeah it's all shiny and adds somekind of a dynamism but in truth this is just a foul to me. She has nothing to do with a fusion resonator and even if those embers are havoc this doesn't make sense with the rest of the palette, they are only on skirt and nowhere else, not even in her skills or anywhere! Yeah you won't have shiny anymore but feel me, this stuff is better gone. I prefer "logic" over an off-topic dissonant glitters. This yellow hue was drawing too much our attention and was kind of breaking the balance with other colors.
One Last thing, the new dark green sub-color is a clever direct mix of complementary colors that was needed to complexify the palette. It's one of the only color I know that resonnates extremely well with a deep red color (decades of professional experience). The leaf in the middle of her chest has been turned to this green and it's so fun because all of her effects will seem like a flower is growing on that natural living base. I now love to see her liberation because of the flower being complete with green leaves!
