The moment I was finished posting Mortefi, I could not wait more than 2 hours before getting started with Yinlin. Because I could not stand her vanilla color scheme anymore, it's been itching me since her release. This red... If you know me a bit, you would guess I would fume in front of any character that have one same color on both hair and clothes (high coverage). This is just dumb, this looks dumb just doesn't work, only clowns or bad excentric anime designs would do that. But as if this wasn't enough I think joining a strong red lmike that with purple in a same color scheme is just pure blasphemy. So It was about right I create a mod to fix that, but of course one thing leading to another I did way more than I had expected. Let's see what are the main changes now.
- Not p*rnographic design (joke aside it's actually hard to find SFW mods for Yinlin)
- Thigh-up stockings (Simple, without lacework or overloaded shiny effect)
- New Lilac hair color that resonnates way better with her color scheme and lightning VFX
- Eye color changed to an "electric" pink, suits well with her arm energy glowing cords
- Make-up toned down (eye shadow was covering too much and in a bad orange hue)
- "Dots" under-eye make-up removed. A mole under one of her eyes instead (Idk, I love it!)
- Earring reduced and reworked to be more elegant and discreet
- Hips area reworked (shorty replaced by tanga-like underwear), specular/normal maps fixed.
- Clothes, weapon and doll same red color was replaced by a new "old wine red" color
- A new subcolor affecting new areas was created to get a more complexe color scheme.
- Many details that were dull or sloppy were reworked (Arm straps, lot of gold parts, etc.)
You will have 3 separate mods for this. One for the character, one for her doll and one for her signature weapon. Don't worry, performance-wise only the final number or texture files matter so it's stays the same and it's not heavier for your pc to handle.
Simply extract this .rar archive into the mod folder for your XXMI launcher installation. (A custom launcher needed to install mods for Wuthering Waves)
The location should be : C:\Users\Yourpcname\AppData\Roaming\XXMI Launcher\WWMI\Mods
