This video's storyline:

Geralt accepted helping "the Ladies" in order for them to give him information about Ciri. After the audience with the ladies, Geralt was to meet with the ealdorman of Downwarren. A small village at the edge of the swamps.

the ealdorman told the witcher that their village and surroundings had been plagued by this trapped entity inside a big tree on the hill. Some weird things had been happening for a while now, and it all started when this entity had become trapped inside the tree.

Geralt without further hesitation went on his way, again through the treacherous swamps onward to the tree, not really caring for what was next, because all that mattered to him was finding Ciri.
