About this video

Wanted to publicly showcase a mod I've been working on and off again for a while now. I actually made the first version over a year ago, but it was pretty scuffed, and the idea was abandoned. A few months ago I decided to work on it again, practically remaking it entirely. It has new sound fx, dynamic rope generation, multiple modes (pulling either the player or the target), aim assist (when shooting flying enemies or shooting without manually aiming), and lots of other stuff. It's also its own separate item, not a crossbow replacement, and functions entirely off of custom scripts. So there's not a single thing to merge))

It's been basically finished for a while now; I released a beta on discord about a month ago and having been tweaking it here and there. The main reason I'm waiting to release it is because I used the mesh of the lynx pistol from Roenaxx's Firearms mod for the grappling gun. He still hasn't read my message requesting permission to use his work and was last online in June...
I don't doubt he would be fine with it, especially considering I've done stuff with him in the past. But still, wouldn't be right to release it without his approval. If anybody wants to try their hand at making a model for the grappling gun, feel free to contact me. You can find me on this server.
