Version v1.2
- Fix for shader issue regarding hair discoloration and color distortion within dark areas (caves)
This mod fixes the flickering shadows bug introduced in the next gen version of The Witcher 3.
There are two components to it:
One is a traditional mod that eliminates the dimmer zones within the game, which for the most part was why the shadows were flickering in the first place. This component has an effect on both the dx11 and dx12 versions of the game.
The other is a shader fix for a particular issue that results from removing the dimmer zones. The shader fix currently only works on the dx11 version of the game, though it shouldn't matter that much for dx12 since the issue that it fixes is pretty negligible in my opinion. RT shadow also eliminates this particular issue directly, so dx12 should be fine overall.
