Have you ever wished to visit Kaer Morhen in its golden days? Back when the fortress could still undergo a siege without the fear that its ramparts would collapse in the first assault suffered? 

Well today, your wish comes true! Lambert and Eskel will finally be able to enjoy a more than deserved rest, since a friendly invisible hand came, during the night, to lend them help in their difficult task of repairing Kaer Morhen. 

Never will you fear again the wrath of the Salamandra, nor will you ever fear again the unexpected arrival of the Wild Hunt down the walls of Kear Morhen, for the fortress now stands once more strong and proud in the Blue Mountains!

This mod is meant to be deployed at any moment AFTER the Battle of Kaer Morhen. Since I wanted to keep the mod file relatively light sized, I have not generated any new navigation data. Therefore, if you are using a companion mod, your friends might not be able to follow you everywhere, in this new and deeply transformed environment. 


I tried to remain as faithful as I could to the authors original plans of the area. For matter of consistency and coherence, I had to add or remove certain elements, on occasions.

Version 1.6a : Same as version 1.6, but without the turret tops on towers. Also, fixes additional occlusion issues specifically found in the previous ''no turret tops'' version

VERSION 1.4 : This new update is mainly an attempt to bring back Witcher 1's second floor. It also brings various other fixes ans improvements (see the changelog's file for details).

VERSION 1.3 : In this new update, I restored back Witcher 1's basement level of Kaer Morhen. I tried my best to remain faithful to the original authors work. I realized too late that I oversized a bit the level, but other than that, I think it is a pretty faithful rendition. I won't put too many screenshots in the media section, since I'd prefer you guys to be able to re-discover the basement by yourselves! You can access to basement through the door leading down, in Triss room's tower. 


VERSION 1.3a : Same as V 1.3., but the towers are left without turret tops. 

Upcoming in the new update : restoration of Kaer Morhen's main floor and I will also restore Witcher 1's second floor, aswell (the library, the fireplace's room, etc.)

INSTALLATION
 


Download manually or with Vortex. If downloaded manually, unzip the file, copy the folder ''modkaermorhenrestoredtoitsancientsplendor'' in your MODS folder, inside your game's directory and then run WitcherScriptMerger. 

To uninstall the mod, just delete the copied mod's folder from the game's directory and run WitcherScriptMerger again!
