Version 1.1 NG+ support
Thanks for downloading this mod and for your feedback! I now added full New Game Plus support for both swords.
As always, if anything doesn't work or you encounter a bug let me know and I'll try my best to fix it.
This DLC adds a stand-alone set of witcher swords (one silver and one steel sword) for a bigger choice of weapons in the late-game stages. Especially made for those who like to dress the White Wolf in black armor and want the swords to go along with that theme. The swords are adjusted to be used in the Blood and Wine DLC as an alternative to the grandmaster swords. This means they have the same damage values as the other grandmaster swords, the other bonuses (like, CritDamage, CritDamage chance, etc.) are different, though. They do however still count towards the Grandmaster Wolven Set bonus. So, if you equip the black wolf swords instead of the regular grandmaster wolven swords you still get the wolf set bonus as long as you have at least 3 items from the grandmaster wolven set.
IMPORTANT: Both swords need to be crafted, requiring a grandmaster smith. The diagrams to do so can both be bought from Lazare Lafargue, the grandmaster smith in Beauclair (B&W).
TL;DR:
- 2 new grandmaster level Witcher swords
- Buy the diagrams at the grandmaster smith in B&W and craft them there
- Count towards the Wolf School set bonus
- compatible with the classic Witcher 3 release (1.32) and the Next-Gen edition (4.x)
- English and German localization (so far)
- requires Hearts of Stone + Blood and Wine DLC to work (if I have more spare time in the future, I might make it completely independent)
I might also add black wolf armor to go along with the swords to make a complete black wolf set, upgrade tiers for the base game and Hearts of Stone and NG+ support in the future but I can't promise anything right now.
Should you encounter any bugs or want to help me with localization don't hesitate to reach out to me!
Due to a known issue when editing and exporting models using Blender, I had to disable the blade oil and rune/runeword effects on both swords for the time being. Again, if you know how to fix this let me know.
