I recommend everyone to download the newer versions (1.2) as the old ones had some faulty behavior (mainly because me not saving as I should..). Enjoy!

I got mod kitchen and uncooked files and have been working on a mod to change the coloring of igni a bit. However, I am unable to locate the texture for the weird, ugly, low res "cracked" effect that occurs when using fire stream. It covers the area during combat, looks really ugly, and even shows up under water...I personally despise it.
Would you, who is more experienced with mods than I be willing to have a go at making a mod to make it disappear? I don't know what would be more effective, making a mod that deleted the texture entirely, or making a mod that renders the texture invisible.
Have you tried the mod editor found on the official forums? It's needed to edit certain files. I have a vauge memory that I saw something that controlls just that.
I took care of the issue (Arrow trails) and finally managed to get rid of them. Here is the now 100% complete package - No Swords and Arrow Trails: Enjoy :).
Thank you, it's working perfectly! Any chance you might be able to fix the "White Trails for Geralt only" version? Rend and Whirl look pretty dumb with severance and no trails... Cheers!
EDIT: Anyone interested in having no trails on anything besides 'white' trails for Whirl and Rend, you can use @Moahofer30 fixed version of "Pesky sword trails begone" and an old bespoke mod I found over on the CDPR forums called Clear Rend Trail. Works perfectly for me.
Late to this party but everyone loves to blame the mod author for everything. I suppose it's easier that way. Couldn't be my own ineptness modding...HAS to be that damn mod authors's fault....geesh Whatever happened to "can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"
Thank you very much for creating this mod, it was one of the things I needed the most, however I think I have an error because with the aerondight sword after 10 blows it shows trails again, otherwise I loved the mod, an apology for my English
