Hey, I looked at the forums on the other page for others having trouble and followed your directions on the file page to the letter. I think im installing the mod wrong. This is my first witcher 3 mod and i honestly don't know what im doing wrong. your step 5, when it says "overwrite when asked", yeah I'm never getting asked. Is that the problem? I do put the School of the Roach beta file into the main witcher installion directory, not the mods folder, right?
I feel like such a noob but I honestly would just like some help from anyone patient enough to do so
Hi. If it's your first mod, the instalation doesn't require any overwritting, so it's ok if you don't get that message. Follow the instructions line by line and it will work fine, except one thing: the hotfix has this folder "modSOTR_Scripts" and you need to delete that folder in the original installation of the mod. If not, it will give you compilation errors.
In sum, after installing the mod line by line, go to folder Mods and delete the "modSOTR_Scripts" folder. Then, copy the "modSOTR_Scripts" that comes in the hotfix into the Mods folder. It will work fine.
