Warning For the mod to work as intended you need to NOT use the new "closer" camera options under Options -> Gameplay.
Thanks so much for taking the time. I have the mod menu working but the actual mod itself isn't working, I do have the camera set to not closer as well. I installed the mod as described, is there any step I missed?
OMG YES!!! THANK YOUGarrold (and ElementaryLewis and Wolven Workshop! Kudos to you good sirs!) for making a fix for this! Being able to play with this mod again is SO MUCH MORE enjoyable than vanilla camera! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! <3 <3 <3(And of course, also thank you again to pMark, for this hella amazing must have essential mod! <3 <3 <3)
Working hella fine with new game update/patch 4.04! \o/ (Note: If you're having trouble getting this to work, like I did at first, don't forget to Merge!)
Thx Fix Works, almost. But i have issue - in exploration mode, when you use witcher sense, camera fly far right from the Geralt . Did some one have solution?
Yeah, getting the same issue witch witcher sense. You can use friendly focus mod to disable zoom or just change focus camera settings in Absolute Camera. Got another bug with combat camera though, perhaps update broke something after all.
I use absolute camera only for combat to zoom in on Geralt, does anyone else have a bug when sometimes in/after combat camera transitions become choppy, camera repositions instantly between states? Also after becoming overencumbered out of combat with this glitch camera zoomed in closer, despite being turned off for anything but combat. Very frustrating glitch that happens sometimes in otherwise excellent mod.
Great mod! old as it is, but am I crazy or is there NO way to customise the "sign casting" camera?
I see there is a option to change the signs camera in the combat tab, however for me it does not work, and yes I have the on/off button set to ON....I want to use the same camera preset for sign casting, either in OR out of combat that I use for exploration, but see no way currently, any help would mean the world, this is the only fault I can find with this mod, otherwise it's perfection....
Is it possible to keep auto centering in combat but turn it off outside combat? If there is a setting for centering "always", is there a way to make it "during combat"??

i fixed error by changing file \mods\modAbsoluteCamera\content\scripts\game\player\r4Player.ws (link to changed). Merged it with default r4Player.ws. But i still dint figure out how to work with this mod (fov is good, but rest doesnt work), hehe
very good for keyboard and mouse user, not so much for gamepad, turn on camera auto centering make combat camera wont stay static, the behavior is similar to hard lock on enemy, these issue will gone if auto centering turned off, but gamepad without camera auto centering is a pain.
