I was desperately trying to get my new 3070ti to perform better in Witcher 3 Next Gen 1440p... Thanks Nvidia for 8GB vram
Maybe helps one of you guys get better performance or quality
I found this guys Description: Geforce Clean Version GTX/RTX drivers are cleaned from all the unnecessary bloat NVIDIA has added as of late. Only the core functionality features are kept.
All credit goes to cryohellinc. I'm just helping him to maintain the cleaning of Nvidia drivers while he's busy with real-life stuff.
if you still have fps drops try

TextureMipBias=-0.5 / -0.3 or the worst quality TextureMipBias=0
in The Witcher 3, a negative value for TextureMipBias can increase texture sharpness/detail and result in higher VRAM usage, while a positive value can reduce texture quality/size and cause blurriness.
To increase texture sharpness, you can set a negative value for TextureMipBias, such as -1 or -2. However, this may negatively impact performance and increase VRAM usage. On the other hand, to reduce VRAM usage and increase performance at the cost of some texture quality, you can set a positive value for TextureMipBias, such as 0.
