Allows the player to swap the Standard Manticore Armor for the Legendary Manticore Armor during a normal game playthrough, or swap the Legendary Manticore Armor for the Standard Manticore Armor on a New Game Plus playthrough.

~Overview~
During one of my playthroughs, I was surprised (and disappointed) to find that the Manticore Armor was available in only one variant which changes depending on game mode. Specifically, the Standard Manticore Armor appearance (which does not contain the chainmail, stitching, or other upgrades) is only available during a normal playthrough. Likewise, the Legendary Manticore Armor appearance (which does contain the chainmail, stitching, and other upgrades) can only be acquired through a New Game Plus playthrough. I like being able to give myself variety in the game, so I made this mod that allows players to swap to either version that they prefer.
~Versions~
This mod is available in two variants:
Variant 1 - Standard Manticore swap with Legendary Manticore
Note: Both files in Variant 1 can be installed simultaneously to swap both modes if desired.
Variant 2 - Manticore replaces all tiers of Griffin armor
Per request by weasl2, all tiers of the Griffin gear will be replaced by the Standard Manticore gear:
Note: the Main files in Variant 1 are not required to be used with Variant 2. The Griffin swap can be installed as a standalone.

~Installation/Uninstallation~
There are two methods to install this mod:
To uninstall, disable via your mod manager or delete from your Witcher3\Mods folder.
~Compatibility~
This mod consists entirely of entities (.w2ent). It should be compatible with most other mods out there. Use Script Merger to identify conflicts, and use prioritization to resolve any conflicts.

Note: it does not alter the New Game Plus version, meaning that use of this mod will provide a consistent appearance for the Manticore Armor no matter which game mode the player is playing.
- Version 2: Standard Appearance -- for players on a New Game Plus playthrough, this mod will swap the Legendary Manticore Armor for the Standard version. Note: it does not alter the Standard version, meaning that use of this mod will provide a consistent appearance for the Manticore Armor regardless of the game mode.
Note: Both files in Variant 1 can be installed simultaneously to swap both modes if desired.
Variant 2 - Manticore replaces all tiers of Griffin armor
Per request by weasl2, all tiers of the Griffin gear will be replaced by the Standard Manticore gear:
- Version 1 -- this mod swaps all tiers of the Griffin gear (Armor, Gloves, Trousers, and Boots) with the Standard appearance of the Manticore gear. This version also swaps all tiers of the Griffin Swords (Steel and Silver) for the Manticore swords.
- Version 2 -- this mod swaps all tiers of the Griffin gear with the Standard Manticore gear, but it does not swap the swords. Only the Armor, Gloves, Trousers, and Boots will be affected by this mod.
Note: the Main files in Variant 1 are not required to be used with Variant 2. The Griffin swap can be installed as a standalone.
~Features~
Below are features of this mod that differentiate it from similar mods that are available:
- All assets in this mod are from the next-gen edition of the game. It is fully compatible with next-gen as well as backwards compatible with classic-gen.
- Contains no .xml files. This mod should be compatible with any mod that alters armor stats.
- If the player chooses to display the armor on the stands at Corvo Bianco, the correct version of the armor will be displayed.
- All icons have been updated so the correct icons will display in the inventory screens.
- This mod only swaps the appearance of the armors. It does not alter stats or any other gameplay modifiers.
- Does not contain any meshes, so it should be compatible with other mods like Clean Chainmail by Scoutbr0.
~Installation/Uninstallation~
There are two methods to install this mod:
- Automated Method - Download and enable using a mod manager. This mod has been fully tested and works with Vortex.
- Manual Method - Download the file and extract the contents into your Witcher3\Mods folder.
To uninstall, disable via your mod manager or delete from your Witcher3\Mods folder.
