Description: Restores some cut/missing/incorrect icons for various items in your inventory. The most obvious change can be seen in all of the boots you acquire throughout the game. Additionally, the icons for several gloves and a couple weapons have also been restored to their proper state.
Rationale: You might be wondering why you need this mod at all since the original one works just fine. Well, that is only partially true. The original version does work, but the files that are edited contain information for many other items in the game. If you use the original version of this mod, all of your witcher gear, other armor, and some weapons will not be updated to v4.0+ .. CDPR made quite a few changes to the witcher gear stats, they changed a lot of the scabbards being used by different weapons, and implemented quite a few fixes for animation switches, which are defined in these same files. So, long story short, you need to use the updated version, as it was built from scratch using the Next Gen file assets as the base, rather than the classic 1.30-1.32 files.
Installation: Very easy to install, just like any other mod, nothing special. It goes into your .../Witcher 3/mods/ folder. Make sure to run Script Merger. If you have any other mods that edit weapons and armor, there might be a conflict. Not to worry, though.. as this mod can easily be merged with other mods that also edit the same files. This mod only edits the defined icon values, nothing more. Everything else in the file can be edited by other mods and automatically merged together with Script Merge
Uninstallation: delete the folder modRestoredIcons_NextGen from your .../Witcher 3/mods/ directory
