The best and fastest button layout for Xbox pad! Joystick with direct shortcut to signs.
I always found it annoying to access the radial menu to select signals. I think that in games like HZD or RDR2 the radial menu works well, being accessed to change weapons, but you won't be changing it all the time. In TW3, in a single combat, it's normal to use multiple signs alternately and I think the radial menu sucks.
The NEXT GEN update improved it a bit, but still kept an auxiliary button to cast the signs. That is, you still need two buttons for a trigger (and the first one to use is the right trigger, a long slow button to activate) and this makes the alternate signs even slower.
With this mod, you can access signals with just one click!
In the image I just wrote the changes. The rest of the commands remain the same.
In the case of consumable slots like food and potions, they will be available in the radial menu and can be accessed with the arrow keys.
Just replace the input file in Documents\The Witcher 3
IMPORTANT: in menu, keep the signal slide in the traditional position, not the quick one.
Backup the native file before replacing!
