(This is a re-upload of my previous work under user profile, WalteriusMaximus)
I have tried to get as close as possible to the CGI render of Geralt, using elements from the actual images such as scars and some of the skin textures, and then adapting that to the game's base texture maps.
> Eyebrows were manually drawn in (one hair at a time!). > Normal (bump) maps have been adapted to suit the new scars and eyebrows. > Eye texture has been re-done. > Skin tone was adjusted to look right with vanilla lighting. Keep this in mind if using lighting mods. > Compatible with classic and next-gen versions of the game.
I wanted to also create a custom head model, but I have never been able to figure out how to fit beard meshes onto custom head meshes, so that effort was abandoned. I may revisit this at some point if I can find someone, anyone, who has done this successfully.
My aim is still to recreate a 1:1 faithful representation of CGI Geralt, it is just a matter of figuring out how. For now, this is the best I can offer.
