Description
During the development of The Witcher 3, CDPR created a quest within "Va Fail, Elaine" in which Yennefer asks for food while lifting Uma's curse.  The quest is fully complete, but CDPR made the decision to cut it from the game.  This mod restores the cut content for all players to experience.

In order to enable the hidden quest, I have created a new unique item in the game: an "Omelet Cookbook".  When Geralt acquires this item, he will read it and learn how to correctly cook an omelet.  This information is super useful for when Yen asks him to make her an omelet!  Geralt can then set out to make her the omelet.

***Note1: there are branching options based on how you have played the game.  If Geralt has romanced Yen, he will be given the quest to make her the omelet.  If Geralt did not romance Yen, Vesemir will be asked to make food.

***Note2: I realize that this scene has been accessible for many years.  However, what makes this mod unique is: first, it makes the cut content accessible for all players regardless of decisions along the way (via an added item in the game); and second, it does not require using console commands -- it is integrated directly into the game to increase immersion and provide a seamless experience.


Quest Activation Instructions

• Be sure to activate the content by setting Mod: Omelet Quest to On.  For GOTY edition, the setting is located in the Gameplay menu; for non-GOTY edition, it is in the Downloadable Content menu.
• Load a save file before the quest "Va Fail, Elaine" (quest needs to be "Disturbance" or earlier).
• As of version 1.0.3, there are two locations to acquire the book: Jonas (the Innkeeper at Kaer Trolde Harbor), and Marcus T.K. Hodgson (the bookstore owner in Novigrad Square).  Fast travel to either of these locations.
• Talk to either Jonas or T.K. Hodgson.
• Purchase the unique item "Omelet Cookbook".
• Important: Open the inventory menu and read the book "Omelet Cookbook".  You must read the book (not just purchase it).
• Play through the game as normal until you complete the quest "Disturbance" and start quest "Va Fail, Elaine".  The omelet quest will initiate during the cutscene when Yen is lifting Uma's curse.

Extract contents:  modOmeletteQuest goes into The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\mods folder; dlcOmeletteQuest goes into The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\dlc folder.  Both are necessary to enable the cut content.
