I only make patches for mods I use. If you would like for me to upload a patch, I'll gladly do so. Be advised: I will direct any questions about said patches to YOU.
If you would like to provide fixes, please let me know and I will upload the file crediting you.
Please read the whole page before asking questions.
I don't do requests.
I don't do commissions.
I don't support Vortex, W3 Mod Manager and/or Collections. If you use them, you're on your own. I manage my priorities via renaming folders and do not use the mod.settings method. Renaming DLC folders will not cause them to stop working.
I don't do realistic, lore-friendly, immersive and/or balanced mods.
Those using outdated versions of my mods and/or deleted mods WILL NOT receive any support. This includes mods downloaded from sites other than Nexus.
I honestly DO NOT CARE why you will/won't use the mod. I did not ask for your opinion. Comments such as these will be ignored. Even if your not going to use the mod, refrain from explaining why. Again: I DO NOT CARE WHY YOU WILL/WON'T USE IT. The simple fact that I have to write this still confounds me.
I am but one person. I don't mod for fame or glory. I mod for fun and share my mods in case someone else would like to use it. The simple fact that I have to write this still confounds me.
Mods mentioned as "personal" and/or "personal ports", whether in the description or the comments section WILL NOT BE RELEASED. Don't bother asking.
This is what happens with hateful, rude and/or distasteful comments:
I am aware of Silver and Steel DLC Standalone Aerondight and Forgotten Silver and Steel Swords. I did not give permission for these mods to be uploaded and therefore will not provide any support if you use them. Not being able to contact me is not a reason to release something without permission. But reporting is fruitless with Nexus so, if you want to, have at it. Maybe if your someone they respect, they'll be willing to listen. I'm not wasting my energy anymore.

I will no longer be releasing any new mods. If any of my current mods need fixing, I will do my best to fix them.
If a mod (those which go in your Mods/mods folder) isn't working, check your priorities. I personally manage mine via renaming folders. If using this method, know that witcher 3 reads mods from bottom to top. Meaning that the topmost mod will overwrite anything below it.
Example:
modA_NumberOne modA_NumberTwo
modA_NumberOne will overwrite modA_NumberTwo. If you would like modA_NumberTwo to override modA_NumberOne, then rename the folder to something like this:
modA_A_NumberTwo modA_NumberOne
Numbers take priority over letters. So renaming as such:
modA_A_NumberTwo modA_0_NumberOne
..will cause NumberOne to jump over NumberTwo and overwrite it. This of course is only valid if the mods alter the same files.
Additional Notes
Please refrain from posting "doesn't work" and not provide additional information. That doesn't help me nor anyone else. Take screenshots or post a list of the mods you use. Please use the bug reports section for this. Also read thhe decription of any other mods you use alongside mine. Sometimes they contain additional information that could help.
If a mod doesn't work and you used either Vortex or the Mod Manager try installing the mod manually. Considering that I have not structured my archives to support these, it's highly likely that they won't be installed correctly.
DLC mods should be compatible with any other DLC mods. However, when it comes to Appearance DLCs that alter the same character (ex.: two appearance dlc mods that alter Ciri's appearances), make sure that ONLY ONE is active on at a time, unless stated otherwise. I have not tested but I don't believe having two active at the same time will crash your game.
I am relatively new to Witcher 3 modding. I do not claim to have all-knowing and all-seeing knowledge of how the game works. Nor do I claim to have more knowledge that veteran mod authors. I am not a professional programmar, artist/designer so know that my knowledge in those areas is limited.
Finally, these are troubleshooting steps that have helped me over the course of my Witcher 3 modding journey. You are not obligated to follow these at any point, nor am I forcing you too.
I REMOVE level requirements via ESGO. Therefore, I DID NOT pay attention to stats when making this mod. I have played the game one too many times to care about balance or whatever you think is so important.
THERE ARE NO prerequisites to use this mod because of levels.
The game assigns the levels to items. NOT ME.
I have included auto-gen tags. I DO NOT know how they work but I have seen them in several mods. Maybe they'll help. Maybe they won't.
I DO NOT play NG+ so I DO NOT KNOW how the swords behave in it.
If some other mod author would like to help with this situation, I am glad to accept the assistance and will upload patches regarding that.
If all of this REAAAAALLY bothers you, you can make a patch yourself using Wolvenkit and editing the file XMLs to match you stats needs or even make it work with some other levels mod you use:
Download WolvenKit 7.1.0 (the file with Classic in it) or 7.2.0 (for Next Gen users). Do not run it yet.
Install the DLC.
Run WolvenKit. If this is your first time, fill in the required information.
Create a new project.
Go to File > Add file from Other Mod
Navigate to the DLC (the folder name)
Double-click the folders until you reach definitions
The XML files will be in there
Double-click on the XML(s) you want to edit. It will show up on the right pane.
Click on the Add marked files to mod button at the bottom. The files will be added to your project.
Collapse until you see the XML(s).
Open the XML(s) in Notepad++, Visual Studio Code or any other text editor you like to use.
Make your changes.
Save.
Back in WolvenKit, click the button up-top that looks like a present. When you hover, it'll say Pack and Install Mod.
Make sure the Install Project box at the bottom of the dialogue is ticked.
Press OK.
Your patch is installed.
Run the game and see if your patch is working as you want it to.
NOTE: I have personally been using 7.2.0 on Classic and have yet to run into problems. Again, I HAVE YET to run into problems. Some may/may have. Some might not/might not have. With that being said, if you feel unsure, use the version for the specific game you are modding.
I installed the mod and everything worked without any problems.I would like to thank you for taking the time and making me happy with your wonderful work.God bless you!
Could you bring back the old versions of this dlc for download? Because I like the smaller versions of these swords (despite this update is good) and the new version of the silver-plated sword looks bulky compared to the steel sword from the netflix armor set.
I didn't change the size at all. Same size as vanilla swords. For reference, I used the Bear school swords.
These models are from Sketchfab so there are differences of course to the games models.
No, I won't be bringing old downloads back. I'm fine with them as is. I'm not looking to make them have to look like the new swords. I'm not even on Next Gen yet so I haven't looked at them up close and can't really (or want to) compare.
If you want to edit them for personal use, be my guest.
Thanks again, but the zip file uploaded to the Nexus is broken/bad file (Black-v1.4.1), can't be extracted.
--EDIT-- The brown version file is fine, gonna test that in game. --EDIT 2-- Tested. Works fine, sword's names are ok now. Still spawning at level 45 so I take this mod can only be used with some other mods as pre-requisite.
There is no pre-requisite. The game determines the level, not me. I do not know how it calculates so I can't do anything about it. If another more experienced author wants to chime in, I'd be happy to update the mod.
Thanks, sadly last update broke the mod, sword's name is missing and both sword spawn at very high levels so can't be equipped (I'm lvl 19 and they spawn at lvl 45). Also, please, rename the mod's folder to something like "dlcSilversteel" to make it compatible with TW3 ModManager and consistency.
Can't speak for the level spawn as I remove level requirements on my own game. I put the autogen levels because people kept complaining about it and I don't know how the game works with levels. If some other author knows how levels work and wants to help, I'll be happy to try and update. Until then, there's nothing I can do.
Show me a screenshot of the name not showing.
Read the sticky post above. And you can rename the folder yourself. Won't affect anything.
Yeah, obviously I already renamed the mod's folder, just asking to make it directly compatible with TW3 Mod Manager, as 99% of mods in the Nexus (and also avoid users mistakes).
Really cool mod! one question tho. Are they suppose to be on low level? I am at level 48 and the swords are only level 23 and 18 (steel and silver respectively)

Also, yes it does mention it:
(Sorry for my english)
