This mod allows you to customize the rate of which the player gains XP from combat and quests. The method is similar to editing exp_mods.csv such as XP gain multiplier mod but uses the script instead. I had issues bundling the .csv into a mod using the toolkit (games would crash when you died and reloaded, and you'd get 0 quest XP). A script based solution is easier, though the mod may have to be updated after game updates and would be incompatible with other r4game.ws mods unless you merge.

This mod works with existing saves.

Details
By default the mod is set up to disable monster XP and set a .9 modifier on quest XP - giving you only 90% of experience rewarded on quests. A quest that normally gives you 100 XP would give you 90, and so on. This modifier is cumulative with the built in difficulty modifiers such as the .8 modifier for Death March difficulty (80% experience gain). However the purpose of this mod is so you can customize these values yourself. To do this open up the r4game.ws file contained in the mod and search for the text comment "MOD HERE". You can now set your own values for expGlobalMod_kills and expGlobalMod_quests. Entering values greater than 1 will increase XP gain, values between 0 and 1 will reward you with less XP.

Install
Just drop the contents in the Mods directory.

Uninstall
