About this mod

Removes buffs from enemies 5 and 15 levels ahead of the player (indicated by red skull icons). Additionally removes nerfs to enemies 5 levels below the player.

This mod does not buff or nerf any vanilla stats!
Instead it simply removes arbritrary buffs and nerfs applied to enemies that are of a much greater/lower level than the player. This way a level 15 bandit will still have the same stats no matter whether the player is level 1 or 30. Therefore high level enemies get progressively easier as Geralt levels up as opposed to being ridiculously powerful up until the very point they're within 5 levels of the player and then suddenly they're far easier to fight. Many combat overhaul mods contain a similar tweak and so I made this mod to apply to the vanilla game.

All "red skull" buffs detailed in the XML files of the game are commented out. Nerf to enemies far below Geralt's level was reduced to 0%/no nerf. Removes inability to counter high level enemies. Removes RNG chance for failed counter against fist fight enemies that are far above Geralt's level.

Enemies with red skulls are still immune to insta-kills.
