About this mod

a patch for AMM that changes how AMM loads the resources, making it asynchronous and thus removing the freezes you usually get when the game loads the new appearances.

This is a patch to the original mod and still requires AMM to be installed.

AMM patch - asynchronous loading
a.k.a. no more freeze after a loading screen

FEATURES

Removes all freezes you usually get when the game loads the appearances set with AMM. It comes at a cost, with how AMM is written there are a few parts that i could not render asynchronous without having to rewrite everything, so by installing the patch you will lose access to these two small features: the keybinds to go from one appearance to another won't work anymore, the slider in the in-game custom menu won't work anymore. The usual mod menu and the refresh keybind still work. See the video.

CREDITS

This is a patch for the AMM mod, this patch should be considered an addon to the AMM mod and not a standalone mod. This patch requires AMM to be installed and thus all credits goes to CAPA14 and his work on the AMM mod. This patch changes the core code of AMM and adds more code on top of it to make it asynchronous and multi-threaded.
