About this mod

A small mod to enable the basic alchemy, oils, and bomb recipes and bestiary entries from the start of the game. Compatible with v1.08.

I found it weird that Geralt of Rivia, god-tier world renowned Witcher, starts the game with no knowledge of how to make any of the essential potions and equipment that any witcher should know. He also carries around an empty bestiary with no helpful information in it. I made this mod to add those recipes and bestiary entries that all Witchers need!

This will only add the first level recipes of the alchemy items to your inventory, and does not include any of the entries for the unique Witcher Contract monsters in the bestiary.

If you encounter any bugs or incompatibilities with other mods please post them here and I'll try my best to fix the issues!

Known Compatibility Issues
Any mods that alter the playerInput.ws file will cause conflicts with this mod (which seems to be a lot of the mods available currently). I'd HIGHLY recommend using the Script Merger tool by AnotherSymbiote to get around these issues if you have other mods installed.

Installation/getting the mod to work
Either use NMM, or for a manual installation extract the archive to your GameFolder/mods directory.

Once you're in game pressing either the B key (or whatever you bound it to) to access your bestiary or the L key (or whatever you bound it to) to open your alchemy menu will activate the mod. Please be aware that if you navigate to either menu from anywhere else it won't work. The mod is triggered by those key presses.
