Description

Hej! Your favorite "useless lines bugfixer" strikes again! This mod fixes the conversation if you got asked by Crach to help Hjalmar and if you rescued Folan before finding Hjalmar.

Originally, there are 4 different conversation option "menus" that you can get while first meeting Hjalmar

  • Alone, not being sent by Crach
  • Alone, sent by Crach
  • With Folan, not being sent by Crach
  • With Folan, being sent by Crach (bugged)
The option 4 was bugged, and instead option 3 was used. Version 4 has 1 more option compared to the version 3, but also choosing "Where's the rest of your crew" has a different (i mean, longer and better) response if you actually were sent by Crach.

Oh, and Folan and Hjalmar have diferent first lines depending whether you told Folan that Cerys had gone to Spikeroog or if you didn't (in my opinion, not telling him actually results in a more interesting line:) ) 

Facts (if you want to try all those conversations yourself without having to play it multiple times):
  • q202_told_folan_about_cerys (you told Folan about Cerys)
  • q202_bring_hjalmar (you were sent by Crach)
usage: addfact("fact") or removefact("fact") 

Cause of the bug

The condition for the dialogue was broken and did not work - it had missing parameters.

Installation

Place the modhjalmarFolanFix folder inside your *installation path*/mods folder
