    Sticky
    I have uploaded a file that will hopefully fix the script compiling errors that people are getting with the GOG version of the game. I can't test it myself as I have the Steam version.

    It can be found under the Files tab on the mod page.

    Please test it and let me know if it works!

      Is this just a copy of the telemetry keyword file someone else posted?

      Either way, when I used the one that guy uploaded or this one it fixes all of the compiling errors for all of the mods I was getting crashes from.

      Nice, since it fixed tons of broken mods I have I suggest it be uploaded as it's own mod instead of a sub-mod for Ultra Gore.

      Would love to play this mod :-)

      If you do not want to always dismember, open the script file and reduce the value from 100 to whatever you like:

      if (RandRange(100) < dismemberChance)
      dismember = true;

      In any case you want to raise the number 100 in
      if (RandRange(100) < dismemberChance)
      dismember = true;

      as "dismemberChance" is the fixed threshold for it to happen, and it seems to be fixed at 100. So RandRange(100) will always give you a lower random number than 100.

      or just lower it in the line above it: dismemberChance = Clamp(dismemberChance, 0, 100);

      Thanks umairazfar and Froz1984 for the instruction to lower Dismember Chance. My greetings for helping the community with your knowledge.
      It is also my intention to lower the Dismember Chance to 50% (maybe 25%).

      Since my english is limited and google translator do not fully help, it seem to me both answers (one from umairazfar and other from Froz1984 ) conflict each other.
      Maybe I have misunderstood, but what is the correct procedure to do so? Should I lower (or raise) the number in "if (RandRange(100) < dismemberChance)" or in "dismemberChance = Clamp(dismemberChance, 0, 100);"?

      Thanks in advance.

      PS: I'm using this mod with Critical Slow Motion Combat, so it is correct to assume that I will always get slow motion when Dismember happens?

      I've never installed any mods for Witcher 3 but started browsing them today for the first time. Saw this one amongst the top mods and checked out the video and thought that it was great! The only thing was that I wouldn't want it to happen on EVERY kill. maybe a quarter of the kills, or if it could happen to the last kill in that combat it would be great! (In Skyrim there are similar mods that only activate on the last kill for a climactic finish!)
      Then I saw in the comments of the youtube video that some people were asking why 75 and 50% chance dismemberment versions were removed and asking to make them available again. I come here and yes, it seems that there's only the 100% dismemberment version.
      That's too bad! Even before I knew there were multiple versions, I knew that it would be best to make them rarer, rather than have it happen all the time. Please give us more versions! Maybe I'll end up installing my first-ever Witcher 3 mod!

      Uh hi, I downloaded this mod a while ago, and then deleted it, but I'm still getting effects from it. Whenever I whirl, all the enemies die as a set up to a finisher. There's no dismemberment, just finishers. Always finishers. I have tried to fix this by just uninstalling the mod, and then the game, but even after *2 reinstalls,* my enemies still die the same way with whirl. Please could somebody help?

      If you have the Steam version, try removing all of your mods, then right click on the game title in your Steam library, and go to properties > local files > verify integrity of game files.

    While using the GOG Fix & when Red Engine is Compiling Scripts, I am getting the following error:

    Spoiler:

    That is basically every line in the GOG TelemetryKeyword.ws, what do I need to do to fix that issue?

    Hey, great mod! But i am wondering does the dismemberement make the game easier? Because i play in next highest diffuclity but i seems like when a creature is 1/4 health left one sword swing takes that away when it usually takes three or two hits to take that last part. Have nice day!

    A message for those that wants to use this mod (probably in conjugation with "Brutal Blood" mod like me), but do not want to have dismembering in all situations; do the following

    1. open folder Witcher_3_game_director\mods\modUltraGore2\content\scripts\game\gameplay\damage
    2. there is a file, named damageManagerProcessor.ws, Open it with your text editor. I have adjusted it with notepad. That is a program available on all pc's with Windows as operating system. It is possible that you get a warning when opening this file. This is normal because the said file is a script file and Windows tries to protect you from malicious scripts, often executed by opening a file. Yet this one is safe, and used by Witcher 3 game.
    NOTE: DO NOT SEARCH FOR THAT - you do want to alter the modded file, not the vanilla script file! So, FOLLOW. THE. PATH. FROM. STEP 1.

    When the file is opened, search for line
    dismemberChance = theGame.params.DISMEMBERMENT_ON_DEATH_CHANCE
    The logic to determine the dismember chance is described at the lines below that line. It is basically same as the vanilla script, except this block here below, of which is at the end of the current "block" (a programming term, it is being denoted as something between curly braces here)

        dismemberChance = Clamp(dismemberChance, 0, 100); #line to modify

        if (RandRange(100) < dismemberChance)
            dismember = true;
        else
            dismember = false;
        dismember = true; #this line needs to be deleted
    }

    Just remove the line where I have placed a "#this line needs to be deleted". This line ensures that you always have dismembering. If you remove that, you have now same behavior as with vanilla script. So this mod is just a one line edit ...

    Anyways; if you want different dismembering chance, you only have to adjust the following line (denoted by "#line to modify" here above)
    dismemberChance = Clamp(dismemberChance, 0, 100);
    The above one is a vanilla dismembering chance. If you want 50%, just use 50 instead of 0

    dismemberChance = Clamp(dismemberChance, 50, 100);
    The only thing I have altered is the second digit, from 0 to 50. This gives a chance range between 50 and 100. The reason for this choice is that there are situations (eg mutagen) where dismembering is always in effect. I do not want to mess with that. Therefore this approach is used. If you want to have it lower, let's say 20, use 20 as second digit which gives a range between 20 and 100. And so on.

    Ergo for minimum 20%;

        dismemberChance = Clamp(dismemberChance, 20, 100);

        if (RandRange(100) < dismemberChance)
            dismember = true;
        else
            dismember = false;
    }

    I have taken 25. Seems ok for me. Save the file, run script merger, load the game ect

      I installed both ultra gore 2 and blood mod.
      I ran script merger and it found no conflicts and detected 2 mods installed.

      So what was the point in having me download and run script manager when these mods don't conflict? :(

      Also, why was it necessary to lower decapitation down from 100% to avoid conflicts with the mods?
      I did lower to 25% as suggested.  Seems like a preference only thing here though. :(

      Based on these results, I don't see why you can't just install both mods without tweaking them.
      Seems like this post was just to tweak down the decapitation % with ultra gore 2 and has nothing to do with blood mod or conflicts. :(

    I randomly get completely covered in blood.
    This can happen whenever, but happens very often in cutscenes..
    Any way to fix this?

      Funny, I have the opposite issue, I'll be in the middle of a cutscene and all of a sudden Geralt gets absolutely covered in blood. Sometimes characters he is talking to also get covered as well. Happens outside of cutscenes at random times as well.
