About this mod
I love the Witcher 3. Beaten it 100% probably 10 times. I like to set RP restrictions in my playthroughs; so having 8 billion POI's with loot that i inevitably want because of my crippling gamer OCD to collect all the shiny things is a bit of a problem for me. And because i cant mod, i decided to solve the problem for me and other like-mined nerds
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
Purpose:
- This save file is for veterans who want to RP the witcher.
- No BS console commanded loot is in your inventory (I hate when Downloaded saves have that)
- All Legit Loot from POI's in chest.
- You can basically only have need to do the quests that you are paid for (in true witcher fasion) and the quests to find Ciri.
- I mod the crap out of my games, i hope you do to.
Problems: (I'm starting with this so you know upfront)
- I console commanded 35 skill points in because i use https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2260
- It is the exact amount of points that you need to fill both first tier of signs and first tier of alchemy.
- I feel as a professional and renowned witcher, he should not have to relearn the basics.
Basics: I want to be able to play this game like a witcher, not a loot hunter. So I created this save file doing the following things to the best of my abilities.
- All POI's in White Orchard, Velen, Novigrad, & Skellige. No POI's in Khaer Morhen, or Tousaint
- All NON CONTRACT and NON QUEST notice board items were pulled and read to discover POI's
- All Treasure Hunt Quest associated with POI's were completed 100% without any failures so you didn't have an inventory of uncompleted quests)
- ALL WITCHER GEAR HUNTS WERE NOT STARTED OR COMPLETED. (This is your job, they all remain in there normal locations, i just left them all)(To find the quest info you need to buy from Blacksmiths and Armorers)
- ALL POI's for HoS were also completed when doing Novigrad. No i do not have an alternate save.
- ALL CONTRACT AND QUEST NOTICES remain on the boards UNREAD. You will still have to travel from town to town to see them.
- A few quests were exceptions
- Evils First Touch (It Auto Gives you quest once you go up to the seven cats inn. Sorry)
- In the Heart of the Woods (Once you get to the area, the villagers are talking about it and you pretty much cant NOT overhear it)
- The Tower Outa Nowheres (Same as the heart of the woods quest, the villagers just wont shut up... OY WITCHA WE NEEDZ YA HELPS)
- From Ofier's Distant Shores (Auto Recieved when clearing POI's in Novigrad)
- THe Sword, Famine, and Perfidy (Auto Recieved when clearing POI's in Novigrad)
Install:
Documents>The Witcher 3> gamesaves> (drop the two files in here)
Notes:
- I completed a few quick time quests because if i didn't they would auto fail and i refuse to have a failed quest.
- I completed (Fake Papers, Bitter Harvest, and Thou Shalt Not Pas) Because people inevitably fail those.
- I completed Lynch Mob because i accidentally came upon it and it would auto fail if i left.
- I completed the Quick time event with the Nilfgardian Soldier who thanks you for saving his girl in White Orchard Kinda.
- I could not go into Crows Landing without progressing so that sign post is untouched.
Vizima Choices: (If you dont know what this means, dont worry, this is all extra content that will be available)
- Letho is ALIVE.
- got out of Flotsom with Roach
- Had to Save Triss.
- Mega Scope lady alive.
