After making Smooth Grass, and seeing how so many people were just as passionate about grass as myself, I wanted to set out to make the best looking grass mod that I could. I learned more about the tools that I was using and experimented a lot. I ended up making a bunch of combinations of all kinds, but there was always one singular aesthetic that stood above the others. At first, I knew exactly how I wanted the mod to look, but lacked the knowledge and resources to make it happen. After experimenting with different grass types from the base game and Blood and Wine, and working on improving my Photoshop skills, I realized that some amazing resources were already out there. I reached out to boostin4kix, author of the amazing Beautiful Grass mod, and he was kind enough to let me use some of his textures in my mod. By combining lush grass with some beautiful flowers, I was finally able to achieve my vision. I hope that you all will enjoy it as much as I do.
To install, drag and drop mod0Meadows to your mods folder and add the following lines to your mods.settings located in your Witcher 3 folder in your Documents:
[mod0Meadows]
Enabled=1
Priority=0
This will resolve conflicts with HDRP and any other potentially conflicting mods.
I recommend setting your grass density to 6000 or 8000 for the intended look. I use the mod Tweaks by TookaFace, and I highly recommend it. These are my grass settings as displayed using the mod Tweaks:
