I can do something similar, it won't be totally random because each file is associated with a specific condition but since there is 5 files that are modified and 5 factions I could add each of them in the game and it would seem to be played randomly if you just wander and play with random gwent player.
It seems that I was wrong, I am currently testing the randomized mod and I appeared that all songs are shuffling correctly between each theme, I was expecting something with the first half of the songs playing in Skellige and the other half in Velen/Novigrad but everything looks random and fine.
The best Gwent music pack !! The random version includes all the goodness idk why it is so under used/endorsed. For people reading this, its a must try easy to install no bugs just pure art.
Ok this mod is really good, the only thing is when you use the random version, musics stops too brutally just before starting another one. it feels like the music was stopped just a little before the end. idk if its a bug or normal
It's not really a bug but it probably cannot be fixed. The thing is that the way the music is played is adapted to the default one. The game doesn't try to fade in the songs and you can't just simply try to lower the volumeoff the audio mix with audacity because the music only depends of the in-game volume. I tried to trick it by lowering the relative volume at the end but I don't know a lot about audio so the final rendering is not incredible.
* Regarding the Random Version: Can you add 10-15 seconds of noiseless 'audio' to the end of each track to help with the transitions? (Perhaps the game would think it is still playing music from the track ... but the player would hear nothing for that 10-15 seconds, making the transition less abrupt when the next track starts.)
* Tangent Question: Could you include a second Random Version that also includes the original Witcher 3 Gwent tracks and the Blood & Wine Gwent music?
I used python 3.7 but you can also use python 2.7 I think. I had an error when I tried doing it for the first time and it was when I converted the original music files to a wav format and then the python script won't work. If that's what's wrong you have to make sure when you export it with audacity to choose "other uncompressed format" under type when exporting audio and then choose wav for the header (you have a new menu that appear when choosing other uncompressed format) and under encoding you have to choose signed 32-bit pcm. Good luck
Just one suggestion. Make the music loops longer. I went through two full musics and a part of third one in one match. Or maybe this is just a bug. Also, one of the musics started playing in Golden Sturgeon(an inn in Novigrad).
I can't believe how under-endorsed this mod is! For me, this is THE mod of the Month easily so far. This totally improves and refreshes the Gwenting experience. I was getting REALLY tired of the vanilla music, though it's not bad in itself by any stretch.
Oh, and special thanks and kudos for the Random Gwent track mod!

Is there a way to combine all of them and play them randomly? Similar to this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/3876
please!
