Many of you who has read the books remember that Leo Bonhart was offered 2000 florens for Ciri. It was supposed to be staggering sum of money. In Witcher 3 it's about 6000 crowns. It's a rather poor reward if you ask me. One trip around smuggler's caches on Skellige and you can get just as much. We do know that 100 crowns was a pretty decent price for Viroledan sword, one of the best in the universe. Esterhazy priced it for 15 florens - it's 45 crowns according to Witcher 3. Geralt in Eternal Fire had a armour worth 22 crowns. So how to the hell every freaking sword looted from chest which is tied to a barrel in the middle of the ocean can be sold for 1000 crowns?!

Well here comes the solution. I decided to lower every dynamically created price to 25% of it. Selling and buying stuff, repair, dissmantling and crafting are included. I left dialogues and rewards, so they will be more worthy to the player.

I also changed the value of Orens to be worth 1/4 of a Crown. Anyone who read the books know why I have done this. Oren was a very cheap currency; in fact we do have exact numbers on it. One Crown was worth 6,5 Orens. And it would have go down trough a massive inflation to be as cheap as currency of non-existing Temeria. And it's not only that Radovid devaluated it. Floren in the game was worth 3 Orens while it was worth 11 in the Witcher saga. Or even more, depending if you believe Havecar or if comparing Viroledan sword price in Season of Storm with the price of one in Nilfgaard. You will simply come to 43:1 ratio. Since I have been thinking that Radovid's actions affected the economy of Redania, I have made Crown:Oren ratio 4:1 instead of 6,5:1. Thus Floren is worth 12 Orens which is pretty consistent with Witcher Saga.

So yeah, you'll be able to buy 4x more wares for quest rewards, found crowns and florens; oren's value will stay almost the same and hopefully quest rewards will finally be worthy of your effort.
