About this mod

This mod automatically changes Ciri's vanilla costume to her DLC costume after the Bald Mountain quests, immediately as soon as she enters Novigrad and thereafter.

Permissions and credits
Have you ever wish that you could use Ciri's vanilla and DLC costumes in a single playthrough, without having to manually toggle the DLC option on/off? Well, now you can. In my opinion, Ciri's vanilla costume symbolizes teen, youth, and purity, while her DLC costume symbolizes maturity, fierceness, and determination. So when the costume transitions over, you can see her character goes through those changes, too. Of course, that's just my thought. You don't have to agree with it. :)

Taking inspiration from a relatively similar mod by Ryunaito, I built upon that using a different method to extend the duration which she wears her DLC costume and made it more dynamic. Her special attack's phantoms also change costume to match her!

This mod will automatically change Ciri's vanilla costume to her DLC version after the Bald Mountain quests, immediately as soon as she enters Novigrad and thereafter. Basically, she'll wear her vanilla costume (and its _dirty and _wounded variants) for all her flashback scenes all the way to the end of the Bald Mountain quests. Then as soon as she enters Novigrad with a certain Witcher, she'll change to her DLC costume (and all of its variants) until the end of the game, including her visit to Toussaint. (Note: she will wear her normal DLC costume, instead of the _fur variant, during Avallac'h's lab quests. This is to prevent a massive necklace clipping during one of the cutscenes.) See the timeline picture for more indepth info on what she wears throughout the game, but a word of warning, there may be some spoilers.

Lastly, I have extensively tested almost all of Ciri's appearances at various points in the game and everything looks good, but as I am a normal human, there may be some bugs lurking somewhere that I might have missed. Let me know if you find any (preferably with a screenshot and save file), and I'll fix it right away.

Special thanks KoalaNalle for all the help!

P.S. There are also Dynamic Costumes for Triss and Yennefer mods, too!

Known issue(s)/Limitation(s):
-Ciri's Toussaint appearance will work correctly if you have not seen the cutscene where Geralt meets her in his house. But if you already have a save file where you met her at your house prior to installing this mod, she will always have vanilla appearance.

This mod is compatible with any costume mod that uses assets replacement but won't be compatible with character entity edit mods and most likely DLC edit mods (unless the DLC edits make use of w3app to change her new appearances I introduced: ciri_reunited and ciri_tous).

This mod modified the following files, so it won't be compatible with mods that also modify these:
...and related scene files.

This mod is fully compatible with 4K Reworked Women. No additional compatible version is needed. Make sure Base Appearances Special Expansion mod is higher priority than 4KRW.

REQUIREMENT: Base Appearances Special Expansion mod must be installed.
IMPORTANT: "Alternative Look for Ciri" must be OFF.

0. Install mod limit fix to prevent infinite loading.
1. Install the BASE mod in requirement.
2. Remove any old version of this mod you have installed, if any.
3. Extract the T1 (or T2, etc) and put the dlcDCCiri_XXXXX folder inside Witcher 3/dlc.
4. Use Script Merger to merge any conflict.
5. Turn the mod on or off in the Gameplay options (see pic).

Which dlcDCCiri_XXXXX folder should I use? (install as many as you want together, but only 1 should be toggle ON ingame at a time).
Transition T1: vanilla costume to DLC costume (dlcDCCiri_DefaultDLC).
Transition T2, etc.: More future costume changes for her post-Battle of KM!

1. Remove the BASE mod folder in Witcher 3/mods and the dlcDCCiri_XXXXX folder in Witcher 3/dlc.
2. If you have any bugged appearance after removing the mod, just make a new save and reload it, and she should revert back to vanilla appearance.
