Changelogs
Version 1.4
-Slightly reduced the strength of level and dpx techniques to improve interior lighting as interiors were at times too dark and/or saturated. -Enabled SMAA by default
Version 1.3a
Accidentally turned off preset techniques in 1.3; you'd have to enable them yourself in the reshade menu in game (HOME). Fixed in 1.3a so the proper techniques are enabled again by default.
Version 1.3
Added the DPX technique
Tweaked / Improved settings overall
Version 1.2
Replaced Clarity with Clarity 2 for improved visuals and performance
Version 1.1
Re adjusted settings for a more subtler and less dramatic overall effect on blur, vibrance and level lighting
This is my first Re-shade. Let me know what you think.... Made and intended to be used with Reshade 4
Tested with Moon's Atmospheric Lighting Mod, Witcher 3 Re:Mod Beta and PLM 8.0 but it should work well with ANY lighting / weather mod, or vanilla. Enables modified leveled lighting, clarity, modified gaussian blur and a modified subtle vibrance.
Effect: Reduces the subtle hazy white noise slightly and gives the game a crisp and vivid look with more realistic ambient lighting contrast. A noticeable enhancement over vanilla but slightly less dramatic fantasy with a touch or realism stirred in.
1.) Install Reshade 4 2.) Download Techniques Vibrance, GaussianBlur, Clarity, SMAA, DPX and Levels during the Reshade 4 install 3.) Extract the mod archive directly into \The Witcher 3\bin\x64 and replace if asked. 4.) In game press HOME and enable the SoulSpectrum preset 5.) By default Vibrance, GaussianBlur, Clarity and Levels are enabled, SMAA is disabled. 6.) Press HOME to bring up the menu and enable or disable techniques if you wish; the most performance friendly preset would be to disable gaussian blur and clarity. Most performance heavy would be enabling SMAA.
