Description

Allows the player to execute quick and easy actions with the push of a single button. These are not just for KBM players; they're extremely useful for controller players (like me) as well.

You can set your choice of hair/beard/clothes as described below:


Open Hotkeys.ws (modHotkeys > content > scripts > local)


To set the hairstyle hotkeys to those of your choice:


Search for "Short Loose Hairstyle" and change it to the name of the hairstyle that you prefer.

You can do this in two places for two different instant hairstyle options.

Available hairstyles: Half With Tail Hairstyle, Shaved With Tail Hairstyle, Long Loose Hairstyle, Short Loose Hairstyle, Mohawk With Ponytail Hairstyle, Nilfgaardian Hairstyle.

If you use murzinio's awesome Razor and Shears, additional hairstyles are available: RSHair Half With Tail Bear 1, RSHair Half With Tail Bear 2, RSHair Half With Tail Inq, RSHair Long Loose Bear, RSHair Long Loose Inq.


To set the beard hotkeys to those of your choice:

Search for "0, 3" and change the 3 to the level of beard growth you prefer (0 being cleanshaven and 4 being a full beard).

You can do this in two places for two different instant beard options.


To set your favorite outfits:

Search for "Rogue Witcher Armor" and change it to the name of the armor you want to be able to equip with one button. Then change the name of the pants, gloves, and boots right below it in the same way.

You can do this in three places for a total of three separate instant-equip outfits. You can easily google the correct in-game names for the exact clothing items you want.


*These are quick style settings primarily meant for scenes where you have no way to change your appearance in-game (i.e. intro, first visit to Vizima, Dead Man's Party in HoS, etc.), so that Geralt can easily be made to look the way you prefer instead of being forced to have a certain appearance for those sequences. They're also useful for when you just want to hit a button and not fiddle with your inventory at the moment. His hair and beard will revert back to their previous styles when you reload the save.

Installation

1. Place the modHotkeys folder into your W3 mods directory.

2. Copy the text from hotkeyinput.settings and add it to the top of your input.settings file (Documents > The Witcher 3).

3. Copy the text from hotkeyinput.xml and paste it into your game's input.xml file directly under <VisibleVars> (bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc)

4. Once you load up the game, go to Options > Keybindings and set your preferred keys for each of the hotkey options, which will be at the top of the list.
