    I've  unstalled the mod but still have black scabbards, does anybody now how to fix this?

      No it's not. It affect XML files, which require an update.

      It does. I just tried it out. It doesn't work on all swords like it should, but it does change most scabbards to black.

    does anyone know how to make it next gen compatible? Or an alternative?

      Only one way to find out.

      Edit: It does indeed work in Next Gen, but there are some swords it doesn't affect like the Toussaint Steel Swords. It works on Gesheft, Aerondight, Vitis, Ami, Blave, and the majority of the best swords in the game.

    Great mod! But can you fix Aerondight? The scabbard at the end is too skinny and not long enough and Aerondight clips right through it.

    Can confirm this works (mostly) in next gen update. However, the Aerondight scabbard is not black. The handle has changed, though.

    After installing both mods my game wont launch until I remove them. Tried to merge with scriptmerger as well but to no avail.

      Is it possible that you have reached the game engine's mod limit? There is a mod to increase this limit

    Some swords are unfortunately not affected by the mod. One example is the early relic silver sword Moonblade. Not sure why.
