I should've said it alot earlier, im not going to work on this mod anymore. If you still want this mod, that's how you do it yourself:
1. Delete your previously changed config files and start Witcher 3. - That way it will generate a new, fresh config file. 2. Download one of my config files. - We are using it to compare and change the new generated config file. 3. Open the new generated config file and compare it with the dowloaded config file, change every value that isn't the same.
For example: New config file - DecalsSpawnDistanceCutoff=4.0 Old config file - DecalsSpawnDistanceCutoff=0.8 <-- Change it to this value
4. Take a look at everything that isn't inside the old config file. Play around with the values, if you feel like experimenting. 5. There are probaly a few entrys, that aren't inside the new generated file. That's because I added them myself - I can't honestly say if they actualy impact something inside the game but I would just add them, but don't add them randomly... they have their own category. In case there are problems, you can always delete them or start from the beginning. 6. Don't forget to set everything to Read Only. Or else, all will be lost.
Thats it. There might be something I forgot to mention... just reply to me if you found a problem / solution. That way everyone can read it. Im not going to play Witcher 3 any time soon and I wouldn't count on my help anymore. Also, there's the possiblility that alot changed by now and that my methode doesn't work anymore... Good luck. ^^
can you plz tell me which value i should change to get back TEXTURES OF CHARACTER ( like armour detail) in the RENDERING FILE BTW thanks its working really fine , much love brother
hey i applied the recommended ultra low , and its working fine but i want the armour texture back , which value i should change in the RENDERING file ( just want to improve the characters texture)
I have this problem: 1. Installed The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt in my laptop. 2. Trying to run the game I got the following message: "GPU does not meet minimal requirements. Support DirectX11 is required." 3. Ran CMD, then DXDIAG to check that I actually have DirectX11 installed and working. 4. Downloaded W3HC-0.8.0.exe from nexusmods.com and copied its content to The Witcher 3 folder. 5. Trying to run the W3HC file I got the following error " Can't find/read C:\Users\MALAKIEL\Documents\The Witcher 3\user.settings. Please run The Witcher Wild Hunt at least one time.
The end of the message stands to contact this community if this doesn't work. Please help!!
The path of the game is: "D:\The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt"
This path doesn't exist: there's no 'The Witcher 3' folder in 'Documents' "C:\Users\MALAKIEL\Documents\The Witcher 3\user.settings"
sorry guys this game can run decent fps on 512 mb video memory i have problem with this video card amd radeon r5 graphics i test many games and lags one game like battlefield 1 i tested and its running with 25-30 fps with low settings i have 8gb ram and processor amd a9425 with 3.10 ghz its lenovo ideapad 330 please can anyone comment this
I really loved your mod but i have a problem. Even though i would like to run this game using your mod i still cant get it to launch without using dxcpl.exe and setting dx11 and force warp option.
Thing is you may already guessed my gpu does not support dx11. And when i use dxcpl in a way mentioned above i cant even move in the game.
Can anyone direct me to the right path ? What am i doing wrong ?
