About this mod
Yellow remover that doesn't add blue, change vanilla's vision or anything else.
- Permissions and credits
To achieve that, I used the HSV method to desaturate the yellow. Then I added a slight HDR to "wipe the dust from your monitor" : it makes the sky more blue, the clouds more white, the colors more alive without saturating them and the shadows way more dark.
/!\ NEW TOUSSAINT VERSION IS OUT, LESS YELLOW, CHECK NEW SCREENSHOTS.
The preset does not cost more than 2 FPS, most of the time 1.
Use F6 to enable/disable the yellow remover.
Use F11 for the HDR color booster.
Use F12 for a slight blur, mainly for low resolutions (hide distance uglyness).
Installation
Choose between the two version:
Main Version is for Velen, Novigrad, Skellige, White Orchard and Kaer Morhen. It can be used in toussaint with the "Clear Lighting in Toussaint" mod (I really like the look it gives to Toussaint).
If you don't use "Clear Lighting in Toussaint", then use the Toussaint version, which removes twice as much yellow as the main version.
To install it, just download the version you need, unzip it and open the folder. Copy the content of the folder into The Witcher 3\bin\x64
Compatibility
I did not tried the preset with any lighting mods, tho try if you want and tell me in the comments how it was.
Future
I'm trying to make the green slightly more green in Novigrad and Velen.
I'm also trying to enable the SMAA, tho it does nothing for me.
