BetterGhost Mode Potions
If you want a more comprehensive overhaul to potions check out my other mod: Dark Souls potions. Don't use this on top of that though!
Description
This mod is trying to cut down on potionspamming and the need for meditation by prolonging effects for extended durations and giving more potions overall. The Idea is to make meditation more meaningful and have the potions you drink matter. I’m going for more of a Dark Souls feel where you rest between bonfires and then set out into the wilderness and hope to survive until the next bonfire. Because of this Preparations Mod by wghost81 is pretty much mandatory.
--I suggest default settings in Meditation presets of Preparations Mod but with
“disallow spawning campfire”
toggled to on.
--If you want to be able to make your owncampfires you should probably max out the timber and hardened timber costs.
--Probably also increase the cost of potionmaking in the Alchemy menu.

Updating
Copy and paste modBetterGhostPotions into your mods folder, overwriting everything.
Installing
Install Ghost Mode and Preparations Mod by wghost81
Unzip and move the folder modBetterGhostPotions toThe Witcher 3 game folder\Mods
Make sure Better Ghostmode Potions has higher priority than Ghost Mode mod. If you haven’t changedany mod priorities in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\The Witcher 3\mods.settings this
shouldn’t be an issue as it takes priority alphabetically. See below picture.
Uninstall
Delete the modBetterGhostPotions folder from The Witcher 3 game folder\Mods
