Can confirm it only works in White Orchard (and Vizima) on the DX11 version. Found that out the hard way after reading the other dude's comment, getting excited that it would work on DX11 and just now getting to Velen and crashing.
Assumed wouldnt work due to what everyone was saying but just tested my end and seems to be working fine? Tested in all zones. Running Raytracing DX12...
Because someone from CDPR thought it would be helpful to test some popular mods and tell everyone which doesn't cause error or bugs.
Except they made one huge mistake: They didn't look the files and compare to vanilla Next Gen files. This one for instance is actually Next Gen Incompatible because it was foremost made for Classic 1.32, and require update so it properly work in Next Gen (with Ray Tracing).
The Mod recommends Hdrework mod which i already have, and when I install only the lighting file the mod manager finds no conflicts, but still all water becomes almost completely opaque when running this mod.. Does anyone know why and how to fix this?
WIsh this would get updated as it's the best lighting mod out there for the game if you want to add a reshade to it to tweak. All the others are either over the top in some zone or another...
The problem with most lighting lods seems to be fog, some have a lot of it, some make it look like milk and others look like some radioactive blue (Tooka LM in Skellige looks so odd, way too blue, needs to be more neurral, shame, because the rest looks like a dream and catches Skellige cold vibe so damn well, like no other lm) and this one seems to have a correct fog setting. I'd prefer some lighting mods just didn't have any fog and have a bit of ugly LOD than seeing some strange smoke or some gas wall that makes the game world look so off.
This seems to be truly the best lighting mod, overall perfection. I am so glad i am still on 1.32 to enjoy it on all of its glory. IL, i like it, but has some milky/blueish fog in Skellige, looks a bit weird and it doesn't have a truly cold vibe, but has insanely good views anyway, Ridman ALM looks just odd to me, Tooka is incredible, but newest version seems it tried to make Skellige look cold artificially with a blut tint in the distance, but looks amazing don't get me wrong, very E3/VGX like, it's just that so many lm get distang fog weird or wrong. Tried this one and seems to have the most balanced look, gonna test others a bit longer, but i think i'll keep this one.
Works only, at the moment, in White Orchard, Kaer Morhen, Skellige, Vizima and Toussaint. Sadly, not velen. Hope you will fix it one day, as this is truly the best lighting mod.

Don't try anything, it won't work at all.
