I was trying to figure out whether this mod was buggy, since I kept seeing the sun up at weird times like 3:30am, and then when I went searching online, I found this: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/702760-the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/71870529. So, I guess that the issue is in the base game, and for me personally, that makes me simply stop caring about what the sun is doing, since it means that it isn't going to match the clock in a way that makes sense to me anyway. Maybe it makes sense to a Polish person, but I'm not Polish.
After thinking it over, what made me finally drop this mod though was that merchants restock after a certain number of game days, and so making my actions take longer in game time is ultimately counterproductive (particularly since pretty much nothing cares how long you actually take to do something in game time). But I figured that I'd post that link in case anyone else was seeing the sun at weird times and wondering whether this mod was causing it.
So...you're OK with a world where wyverns fly around eating people, but the sun rising at 3:30am (which is 100% accurate for Poland in the summer, by the way) is too much for you? LOL!
You... you do know that further up north you go, the earlier the sun comes up in the summer? And that there are parts of Earth which have a 6 month long day and then a 6 month long night? Right? Please tell me they teach you this stuff in school there.
Okay I feel the need to mention this because most of these posts are incorrect in regards to the Witcher setting. The Witcher story does NOT take place on planet Earth. It is not in Poland or any other place. It has been confirmed to take place on an unnamed planet and while in game might be referred to as Earth, it is only usually in idioms or for the sake of making it easier to write dialogue. So don't concern yourself with the times that the sun raises and falls. With that said, the land is based on Poland, but it is a completely different world. Much like the Elder Scrolls games, which also take place on a separate planet. It is actually hinted that the Witcher 3 timeline is parallel with the events of Cyberpunk 2077. Which means on Earth, it is the year 2077.
After installing the mod I realized than a damage log appears in combat. Something that said "Gerart did X damage .." after every time a hit an enemy. This is the only mod a have installed so i am sure is for this one. Is this intentional? Is there a way to turn it off?
I think that's part of the vanilla game, maybe you just noticed it now. I have had that log when I first started playing in vanilla before I knew you could mod the game. I think you should be able to disable it in the options menu
LOVE this mod. Changes some important story moments for the better, such as Bran's fare and going to the witch hunters' HQ with Triss, which are both supposed to take place during the night but you end up with the sun up halfway through.
This is so good it made me realize we need a 1:1 or 'Real-time' mod. I do everything and look everywhere and it would be cool to have it be real-time when im exploring and 5:1 when i'm questing. Meditation mods make this even better.
I realize now we just need a full time-scale button in the UI.

Thanks.

Edit: I couldn't get it to work, tried it on the latest Witcher patch 1.32.
