How do you actually revert these changes? I backed up user.settings and reverted but there was no original rendering.ini and now the texture still are all low res and I have some shadows glitching out... Edit: Even reinstalling the game without renderin.ini beeing present these settings stayed! Need help, I'm really getting frustrated right now
I tried your method to revert changes, but no luck. I even went as far as uninstalling steam and any files/folders related to Witcher 3. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
*EDIT 03/15/18* I found a solution by deleting all files and folders for Witcher 3, deleting steam cloud saves and installing the game on another hard drive. Possibly just installing the game on another hard drive will work.
I downloaded this to see if it run on my laptop and it did, well then I uninstall it but I realiced that the PC that I use to play also has this, so I decide to reinstall the game. I still got the pproblem. Help plese. I bought it on steam.

Wichter 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base
delete this one and verify through steam
also, backup your save game and delete the whole folder in documents (or just everthing inside it, except your savegames)
Otherwise this is my rendering.ini
(Didn't change it manually, only ingame settings to medium)
