INSTALLATION

This Reshade requires both the latest suite and STLM 2.2 (Super Turbo Lighting Mod)

1. Download STLM from the nexus page.
2. Place modTurboLighting into your directory:
Example - C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\Mods

3. Download the latest Reshade.
4. Run the setup: ReShade_Setup_3.0.6.exe.
5. Select Game - Locate your witcher3.exe.
6. Click Direct3D 10+.
7. Download Vivid FX.ini and copy into your Witcher 3 directory.
Example - C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64

8. Load the game and the effects will take a few seconds to compile.

The next steps are for if you have multiple Reshade .ini files.

1. Hit Shift-F2 to bring up the configuration.
2. From the drop down menu select Vivid Fx.ini.
3. Hit Reload if it doesn't compile.

OPTIONAL

If you would like to achieve the same night time effect as is in the pictures then download Atmospheric Nights. You can tweak this to your preference to correspond with your in-game gamma settings.

TWEAKING

Due to the beauty of the latest Reshade Framework, any changes that need to be made can be done so on the fly. By bringing up the configuration menu (Shift-F12) you can make the necessary changes to tweak any setting. Don't like the Borders. Hit them off. Don't like Film Grain. Hit if off. You get the idea.

If wanting to save on frames and playing at 1080p I recommend turning off SMAA.
If playing at 1440p or above without Anti-Aliasing then I recommend keeping SMAA on.

Again, this Reshade is personal preference and things can be easily changed. You just need to scroll down in the configuration menu and fiddle with the right shader settings.

LITE VERSION

I currently have no plans to do a lite version of this preset. Though this is subject to change if or when I have the time to do so.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Blood and Wine - Due to my own slacking I am yet to play Blood and Wine and therefore haven't tested this Reshade with the regions own saturation and expressive colours. There will be an update at this time if it proves troublesome.

FAQ to follow should there be any problems in the comments.

THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME!

I HOPE YOU ENJOY :)
