i cannot find "input"/"input.settings" anywhere not in the "my documents" the witcher 3 folder sitting in Steam. I have searched my entire computer for anything named "input" but i haven't found anything, am i missing something?
This used to work for me when I downloaded it July 5, 2023, and now on March 6, 2024 it's not working. Too bad, I really liked this mod as I don't really care for Gwent (and am bad at it).
Attention to anyone on 1.32(classic) and encountering this error: Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\gui\menus\gwintgamemenu.ws(125): I dont know any 'EMS_End_PlayerForfeited' Error [mod0000_mergedfiles]game\gui\menus\gwintgamemenu.ws(135): I dont know any 'EMS_End_PlayerForfeited'
Follow these instructions if you wish to have this mod function properly:
1. Download this mod and extract the files to your mods folder, following the instructions on the description page.
2. Amend your input.settings file as instructed in the description page. You'll find that file where your gamesaves folder is.
3. Go back to your mods folder. (The Witcher 3/Mods/modNoTimeForGwent/content/scripts/game/gui/menus). You'll see a file there named gwintGameMenu.ws. Open gwintGameMenu.ws in NOTEPAD++ application. If you don't have Notepad++, download it. It is a free and fast install.
4. On lines 125 and 135 of that .ws file, change "EMS_End_PlayerForfeited" to "EMS_End_PlayerLost", and then save and close that file. (It will be located in the "OnClosingMenu()" function/method).
5. You should be able to open the game and use this mod now.
Well, there's a huge issue with your mod, cause after using "n" and winning, you won't get a any new cards. There's only information, but card doesn't appear in your deck. I realize it too late, so I don't have 3 special cards.
I downloaded the update, but it doesnt work for me anymore.. suggestions? (NVM, my input setting file was edited) Love your mod btw. I will learn gwent some day, maybe on my second playtrough :D!
