Mod works perfectly with the latest game version 4.03 (May 2023 Update Patch).
Script Merger detected no conflicts between Instant Tooltips and any of my 60+ mods, including with (Next Gen Edition) Friendly HUD, and Item Description Fix (NGE).
A must have, i dont understand why the dev's thought waiting 1 second to view an item was a good idea. They need thisfor the next-gen update. Great work even after 5 years!
Let me tell you why there is a delay in the tooltip. If there is no delay, I am forced to see the tooltip of the item at the cursor position when accessing the inventory regardless of my intention. And if the item has a lot of descriptions, it will cover up half of your inventory. It's just that you can't get a full picture of what's in your inventory until you move your cursor away. And it's also a function for gamepad users. If I have 10 items in my inventory and the item I want to look at or select is on the 9th position, the delay function allows me to move around without seeing the tooltip until I reach the item I want to select. However, if there is no delay function, you have to go through all the tooltips in number 9. And in the meantime, you have to put up with the tooltips of items you don't want to see that keep covering your inventory. The thoughts and actions of the people who spent years developing and testing the game are on a much higher level than you could have thought in a minute.
This mod was made with a good idea, and I respect it. But after playing it, I realized that the idea wasn't perfect. In the end, I decided that it was better to see one tooltip I wanted to see slightly slower than quickly view dozens of tooltips I didn't want to see, so I removed this mod.
Love this mod but unfortunately when I use this with Vlad UI the tooltips appear incorrectly ( incorrect box size, paragraph spacing, etc... ) Is there anyway to make this work with Vlad UI?
