Wild Hunt Re-Engaged V5.1 now released (18 Aug)

I have Wiedzmin Lighting Preset to V5.1 to work with newly update Wiedzmin Lighting V7.5

    Changes:

    STLM Version- No changes
Wiedzmin Lighting Version- Adjusted colors/brightness/contrast/disabled FXAA to be used with Wiedzmin V7.5

I have also now included Adaptive, Traditional and ReShade 2.0 versions into one file. You only need to install one version. Adaptive adjusts automatically based on your location and needs the mod DifferentSFX. Traditional is one preset that applies to every area of the game. ReShade 2.0 has presets for each location but, doesn't use DifferentSFX to automatically switch presets.

Note: This uses ReShade 1.1 because DifferentSFX doesn't work with ReShade 3.0.

Please see install video on DESC page under Install Steps to see how to install. Video has been updated as of V5.0.

Thanks to Mondello90 for testing this for me prior to release.

For those that want a way to launch both DifferentSFX.exe and your Witcher3.exe with one click and have the DifferentSFX close down when you exit out of Witcher 3 feel free to use this BAT/exe file. Works great

Hi firemanaf! First of all, I've played through the main-game using your mod a year and a half ago and it worked great and added a lot of atmosphere to the game!
Anyway, now I wanted to play through the DLCs and installed the latest Wiedzman Lighting and your mod (Adaptive version, as before), but I seem to be having a problem. I followed the install procedure of everything. However, first, I installed the latest ReShade version (3.3.2) and later realized this wasn't compatible with your mod (right?). Because the game loaded fine that way and even DifferentSFX switched regions as it should. However, I wasn't sure it was really working because (at least I think) the graphics/colors looked the same as before. So I looked for ReShade 1.1 and installed that one. However, now the game gets stuck when trying to load the save file. Any idea what's wrong there?

Remove any type of dxgi.dll or d3d11.dll file in your witcher 3 folder just to make sure previous reshade was uninstalled. Then they installing mine from scratch. My file has the reshade 1.1 already in it.

Hmm, weird, I deleted everything from the bin folder (let Steam verify data and load back the original files) , installed adaptive version from scratch but still the game hangs at the save loading screen. Does reshade put files in places other than the bin folder?

Try renaming my d3d11.dll to dxgi.dll and see if helps.

      Hah, that worked! :)
At least now it lets me back into the game. I'm not 100% sure your mod is working now. It does look great but I haven't played the game for so long, I'm not sure I'd see the difference immediately. Is there a way to tell if it's working (except for DifferentSFXPresets changing locations (which it does))?

Hey fireman, amazing mod you have created, gave the game a crisp look that made my new playthrough so much different, RESPECT MAN, really appreciate the work you put into the project.
Please is there a way to change the toggle keys because I am using a custom gamepad setup with steams big picture program that clashes with the toggles so every time i perform some actions it toggles the effects on and off constantly

Hi and thank you. There is a way to change the toggle key but, it will have to be done for each preset. Is there a specific key causing you an issue and I can tell you how to change.

If 6.0 is working ok I will most likely leave it as is. Weidzmin author keeps saying it will be a last version but, keeps updating. If I get some time I will try it out but, at the moment I dont have time unfortunately. I would imagine it will look ok.

Really any reshade will but, the amount will vary depending on your PC. Maybe 3-5 fps.

I'm using it with STLM 3.2 rather than 3.1.2 and it looks better IMO

Now something called Wiedzim Phoenix III is up? was this a diff version and he's now only using this? cause I don't get how it can be a third iteration. Will yours still be compatible or is this completely different?

Technically, this will work just fine with it. My present was designed off version XII so it may not look exactly as intended depending on the changes he made in the Phoenix version.

I ... how do I say ... I'm still breathless so it's great work! Everything is perfect, the basic game is more than sublimated!
The chosen tones are all superbly adapted to the environment, the night is just dark to be more immersive but not too much to break the gameplay.
    Everything is perfect.
Congratulations for your very good work!

This mod is more than recommended for living, or relive, the adventures of Geralt.

Two shoots for my little contibution .

Hey buddy, amazing mod! I don't know if this is on purpose but I noticed near the swamp area in White Orchard, the sky is very dark in mygame while the ground is very bright. Just wanted to make sure this is the intended look and I didn't mess anything up. I've attached a Youtube vid. I'm using DiffSFX preset btw. Thanks!

      Thank you.

That has more to do with the weather mod. Reshade can only change what is on screen already and only changes colors basically. I have gotten that before too and it may be just one of the weathers.
