Thanks for ruining what would have been an awesome revelation for me. I have been saving for the past two month in order to upgrade my pc and play the dlc in the best possible conditions with mods, and was about to start a new game. Now it's ruined forever.
What "spoilers"? What "ruining"? Regis is fuckind DEAD and the thing CDProjs showed is only their imagination, since Andrzej didnt even take part in 3rd game developement.
Dude why even play this game if you hate what they've written so much? Geesh. I don't get you book purists. You're never happy with anything CDPR does, yet you're still playing their game.

Regis is one of my favorite charas from the books and I was so happy they brought him back... but omg why the sideburns WHY!? Now I can look at him again.
Ciri and Yen never died in the books though and the trailers made it clear they would be in the game. As for Geralt being alive - when the first Witcher game was anounced it was already clear it would be about Geralt.
But Regis died a horrible tragic death in the books and there isn't a single indicator for him being alive up to the point where Geralt first meets him. And not everybody has played the DLC yet, I know a few people who are simply too busy right now to play the DLC but who love the books. Is it really that hard to change the title?
Actually @marchiali, we don't know the fate of Yen either in the books. She was also ran through the gut with a pitchfork. Triss, Dandelion, Zoltan (and Yarpin I think) carried them both to a boat by order from Ciri. All we know is that Geralt awoke in the arms of Yennefer, but nothing was said if it was real or the afterlife.

The mod has Blood and Wine tag. Don't want to see spoilers for the expansion? Block the tag and leave it be.

The title is up to the author of the mod obviously, but there are things called search results and keywords.
