This is a stripped down version of the Preparations mod by Wghost81, where it only contains the Meditation aspect of that mod with the permission of Wghost81.

Description:
This is a stripped down version of the Preparations mod by Wghost81, where it only contains the Meditation aspect of that mod with the permission of wghost81. This mod was created based on the Friendly Hud version of the original mod so in order to use this mod you Need TO HAVE Friendly Hud fully Installed First.
The Differences between this mod and the Full Preparations Mod:
- Some of the Meditation options were removed or tweaked to reflect the changes that were made. but the bulk and most important options should be available.
- The alchemy menu has been completely removed so if you want that option then you should download the Full version. These include the Oil charges and the alchemy refill options which means they are all back to vanilla now. in order to refill potions, meditate for an hour and it will refill using vanilla mechanics.
- You still have access to time intervals and can tweak them.
- You also have access to customizing your campfire to whether require timber or not.
- You also can tweak what is allowed or disallowed when not meditating, for example, you can disallow the use of skills when not meditating just like the Original Mod.
I have tried to Keep as much as the original codes in as I possibly can before I hit my own coding skill limitations. So you would have to forgive me if I miss any of your favorite original features. Also please note that I made this mod firstly for myself and my own needs But I will be more than happy to help with any concerns you might have.
In order to go to meditation, you have to Hold N to go into the meditation animation. once Geralt is going into the animation you can let go of N key. Once Geralt has completely sat down then press and hold space at any time while you are sitting to pass the time. In order to get out of the sitting animation just press and Hold N again to despawn campfire or simply sit up depending on what options you have chosen. Also if you want to use the meditation menu at any time just press N like normal vanilla and you get access to the vanilla menu. This should help with compatibility with the bed in DLC. in fact, it should resolve all conflicts with it since it doesn't touch the meditation menu. I haven't tested this but please do report.
I have also added the English Strings for those willing to translate it to their own preferred language and have their game localized for the mod menu.
As of this moment, the mod is only localized in English.
Note:
You DO NOT need to have the Original Preparations Mod installed. However, YOU DO need the Friendly Hud mod.
A couple of notes before Installation:
-If you have the Main version of Preparations mod then Please uninstall and remove that version completely. If you have the Friendly Hud version or as the Author calls it "Special mod version" of that mod please uninstall and remove both FriendlyHud and Preparations Completly. If you want a more detailed explanation on how to uninstall and remove the mods then please refer to the readme provided on both the mod page and inside the mod folder. Also, Make sure you reset your ini settings you have backed up from before installing the mods. Also, make sure you unmerge your mods if you have merged mods with Script merger.
-Also Backup your Bin folder in the witcher 3 directory and your ini settings and saves in the Documents/The witcher 3 folder just in case.
Installations:
1) Download and install Friendly Hud's latest Update which as of now is 11, following Wghost's detailed instructions from the mod. This step is really Important. without it, this mod won't work.
2) Download this mod manually. ( I haven't tested it with mod manager since I don't use it but please do report if it works and I'll update the description.)
3) Open the zip file using your favorite archive openers like 7zip or WinRAR.
4) drag and drop "Modpreperations" folder into the Mods folder.
5) drag and drop "ModfriendlyHud" folder into the Mods folder and let it overwrite everything.
6) drag and drop the "bin" folder directly into your witcher folder and again let it overwrite everything.
7) Go to the "Modpreperations" folder and open up "user.settings.part.txt" and select all and copy everything and paste it into your "user.settings" file at the beginning. The File is located in your Documents/The witcher 3 folder.
8) Go to the "Modpreperations" folder and open up "input.settings.part.txt" and select all and copy everything and paste it into your "input.settings" file at the beginning. The File is located in your Documents/The witcher 3 folder.
There is also the Original Readme created by Wghost81 available for more in-depth instructions inside the "Modpreperations" folder.
9) If you have more than these two mods then its a pretty good idea to run Script Merger to resolve any conflicts with other mods you use. However if you are only going to use these two mods and these two mods only then you don't need script merger.
Note:
You DO NOT need to have the Original Preparations Mod installed. However, YOU DO need the Friendly Hud mod.
Future Plans:
- If I have time and if enough interest is shown I might create a standalone version of this mod without the need of FriendlyHUD mod.
Recommendation:
- To choose what alchemy ingredients will be used when you meditate for an hour you can use this mod which is updated and enhanced by me:
