About this mod

Blizzard works all the time, not just after a kill!

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Changelogs
For game version 1.22.

Changes blizzard to start slo-mo right after you drank a potion, rather than after a kill, to make it useful against single monsters, not just a mob.

Also adds mods menu that allows you to tweak your blizzard settings to your heart's content.

NOTE: currently features english localization only. Sadly, out of all languages I know, none could be applied in this particular area.

[Installation]
Download with mod manager. Run a Script Merger.
Cut bin folder from modEnhancedBlizzard and paste it into your base game folder (merge dem bins).

[Mod Menu]
Level 1: Basic version of the potion.
Level 2: Enhanced.
Level 3: Superior.

Realtime Duration: how long potion lasts in real gametime, id est in relation to the GAME WORLD.
Actual duration, in relation to YOU, THE PLAYER, is calculated as follows: (realtime duration) / (1 - slowdown).
So, if you've set realtime duration to 10 seconds and slowdown to 0.50(50%) you'll have 20 seconds of hot blizzard action.

Toxicity: exactly what it says on the tin. How much toxicity this version of potion gives you.

Slowdown: how much time is slowed down.

Relative Speed: the speed of Geralt relative to YOU, THE PLAYER.
Zero means you move as the rest of the GAME WORLD (i.e. - slowed as the rest of the suckers). One means you move with your normal relative speed.
Consider this: if everything but you is slowed down by half, you became twice as fast.
Lets say you have slowdown at 50% and relative speed at 100%. Then you have 100% (relative) speed bost. For the inhabitants of the game world your speed increased twofold. But, if you'd set relative speed at 50% (meaning 0.5), you would gain only half of this speed boost (id est — your total relative speed would become 150% in this scenario).

[Vanilla files changed]
scripts\game\gameplay\effects\effects\potion\Blizzard.ws
scripts\game\components\inventoryComponent.ws
scripts\game\player\playerWitcher.ws

[Compability]
As long as other mods don't change Blizzard.ws file, my mod mod should be perfectly safe to merge.
IF conflict ensues, I clearly marked changes I made (expect blizzard.ws file) with comments.

You do not need this mod if you're using Primer, since Primer includes similar changes to blizzard potion, but balanced specifically for the realities of that mod.

[Future Plans]
Change the potion description. Add some sweet-sweet localization files.

[Credits and Endorsements]
skyliner390, for making awesome mod Primer. Check it out.
jadugarr, for making Toggleable Cat Potion. See above.
BL19, for making Frenzy Skill mod. It's beautiful.
