Added a few more updates! Screenshot of my XML file. An actual copy of my XML file in the files section and a screenshot of what your gameplay options should look like after editing.
Tried editing it myself, tried your file, only effect is that all the other options are duplicated. Bummer. Would've loved to have this option. I'm using GOG version btw.
You can always try the .ini tweak that CaptainCrunch posted. Using the .ini method won't give you an ingame option to toggle it, but you can still turn it on and off manually that way.
It could have something to do with it being the GoG version. If you don't see an option for motionsickness mode in the .ini file then perhaps the GoG version doesn't have it
I finally figured it out. Or better put someone else did who edited the rendering.xml in this folder. I had a backup gameplay.xml in the same folder. That's what caused the problem. Just edit gameplay.xml without backing it up, there can only ONE xml containing gameplay in its name!!! Thanks a lot for this tweak. Endorsed
Been looking for a mod to turn off the blurring from Witcher Senses. Works as advertised (Origin, v1.05)
To those of you having an issue: 1)Right click your "Witcher 3 Wild Hunt" icon on your screen and click "Open File Location". 2)Navigate to "bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\" and right click "gameplay.xml" and click "Edit". Notepad should open up. 3)In the "gameplay.xml" file, find "<Var id="ColorblindFocusMode" displayName="witcher_senses_colorblind" displayType="TOGGLE"/>" and make a new line in Notepad and copy/paste this under that line: "<Var id="MotionSicknessFocusMode" displayName="Motion_Sickness_Mode" displayType="TOGGLE" />"
4)Click "File" then "Save" on the "gameplay.xml" file opened in Notepad. Now to make sure it is enabled already, go to "bin\config\base\" and open "gameplay.ini" and change "MotionSicknessFocusMode=false" to "MotionSicknessFocusMode=true" and then click "File" and "Save" for this one as well.
5)Start your game, you should find the option under "Gameplay" in the pause menu.
It worked here, the option is in the Gameplay menu and there's no more blur, game version 1.05 and in Brazilian Portuguese (the option itself didn't translate 'of couse').
"Let's make people feel sick when they're playing our game, that will be fun!"
That hasn't happened to me but I have noticed that each time i restart the game i need to set the option back to being On and i figured out a way to keep it toggled to on by default which I will post shortly
Motion sickness mode is an option that for some reason is hidden from us and it keeps the screen from being all blurry around the edges when using witcher senses
I will post a copy of my XML file later today so for those people who can't get it working and might still want to try they have something to reference.
Yepp, same here. But for me it duplicates all three options, weirdly enough. Well, I'll stick to my method. Just tweak the ini But still great work if it works for the other. Cheers

Can't believe that something like this wasn't patched in after making so many people sick.
