Great mod! But not working with latest version of Input Mapper.
Any chance it will be updated to work with Input Mapper version 1.7. It seems that the profile must be written as a JSON format as opposed to XML. I am not a programmer so I don't know what is involved in converting the XML map to a JSON map file so it can work with this latest version.
Curious if anyone has successfully converted or found a work around?
Hello first of all thank you this mod is amazing just one question, i did the Disable control scheme popup that was suggested but that also disabled my hotkeys for auto loot, is there a way to fix that?.
4. Open the ZIP and place the single .exe into the folder where your game .exe is.
5. Launch x360ce.exe which you moved into your game folder as an Admin.
6. It should ask if you want to create the ini and dll files required to make it work. Say yes to both.
7. It should then ask if you want to use the internet to automatically search for settings. Select that option. Then click finish.
8. This is a repeat of step 7 because it detects 2 controllers due to the way InputMapper/DS4Windows works.
9a. x360ce should detect 2 controllers now: Controller 1 should be "Wireless Controller", and Controller 2 should be "Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows).
9b. This might be optional, but to be sure, open Game Controllers in the bottom right of x360ce, then click Advanced and make the "Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)" as your preferred device.
10a. Back in x360ce, click the Options tab (just to the right of Controller 4) and select "Enable Combining".
10b. Go back to the Controller 1 tab and click on the Advanced tab. Check "Combine this Controller".
10c. Go to the Controller 2 tab and click on the Advanced tab. Check "Combine this Controller".
11. Click Save, and then close x360ce. You don't even need it open when you play your games, just for that first time setup.
Hey guys. Just want to reiterate that this is by far the greatest mod I have used of TWH, and the scheme is much more intuitive and conducive to the flow of combat in an action RPG. Anyways, my one last issue has been that several seconds after casting a sign, the combo button used to cast that sign will be pressed again. As an example, 5 seconds after an Aard cast, Geralt will do a light attack, etc. I'm playing 1.30 in the exclusive mode, wired, emulating 360.
Any suggestions as to what to do? I assume some changes to the macro would solve this problem, would like to know if anybody else is experiencing it.
One question, since I'm heavily modifying this control scheme right now: Why is there are a delayed delivery of the attack keys F10 and F11 after the buttons were pressed with the modifier key?
Hi golem your the most recent and active poster so i thought id ask u this is a question to everyone, as witcher 3 officially supports DS4 controller now do we still need a third party inputter or could we add these combo keys manually and if so how? also is this 1.31 compatible because iv added the imputter profile loaded the game and had no responce from holding l2+a sign i do get 2you cant do this now2 im pretty confused and would appreciate any assistants as to where i maybe going wrong, many thanks this mod is brilliant i wish they had added it seems so logical
I would add one thing to this very nice profile, the ability to use potions 3 and 4 with the modifier key. The keyboard button for Potion 3 is T and for the fourth its Y. So just bind those to L2+Up and L2+Down respectively, and bind the the keys for potions 1 and 2 (R and F) to up and down without the modifier key. WIN!
EDIT: Nope, there is a problem in the inventory with using F for down. So I had to rebind usepotion2 to IK_U, now there is no conflict.

Cheers!
Can anyone please just do a simple remap to use the swipe on the touchpad to cast spells and leave the rest the same?
Swipe Up - Aard
Swipe Right - Igni
Swipe Down - Quen
Swipe Left - Yarden
Share Button - Axii
Here there is a fix:
Bear in mind this is only a temporary fix until a proper solution comes around. It is rough, and far from ideal.
1. Plug in your DS4 to your PC as you always would and launch InputMapper/DS4Windows as Admin.
2. Hiding the controller/using exclusive mode must be enabled (actually, it might not be necessary but all I know is that it works with it on).
3. Download x360ce: https://github.com/x360ce/x360ce
4. Open the ZIP and place the single .exe into the folder where your game .exe is.
5. Launch x360ce.exe which you moved into your game folder as an Admin.
