Description

This is a Profile for Xpadder or Antimicro that allows you to use the tweak by xpizdax "Instant Sign Casting" on your favorite gamepad. You will finally be able to exploit the full power of the Signs. The combats will be faster and smoother for you will enter the Radical menu a lot less. This will make The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt more similar to the Dragon Age Inquisition experience.

Antimicro Version
(Recommended)

1. Download and extract Animicro in a folder of your choosing. Completely free. Download link: AntiMicro 64bit  or AntiMicro 32bit
2. Extract input.setting into your "Documents/The Witcher 3" folder and overwrite (Download the latest version even if you play with and old patch)
3. Extract the Antimicro profile into  "antimicro\profiles" folder
4: Start Antimicro (as administrator) and load the profile
5. Play the game and enjoy

After the frist time all you need to do is start Antimicro and then the game.

There are three versions: Normal, Combo Key Gallop and Inverse Gallop (which uses the opposite key to the combo to gallop). Addiitonally, each one has a RT or LT  Combo key profile. Is up to you choose the combination you like most. See Picture to have a look at the possible schemes. Of the six possible combination only three are shown for the others are exactly the opposite.

Xpadder version

1. Download and install Xpadder, don't launch it yet. Buy it form here: Xpadder or get it elsewhere at your own risk
2. Extract input.setting into your "Documents/The Witcher 3" folder and overwrite (Download the latest version even if you play with and old patch)
3. Extract the xpadder profile and controller profile (if you use the 360 controller, or make one for yor gamepad, very easy) into a folder of your choosing
4. Start Xpadder (as administrator) and load the profiles - See picture for help
5. Play the game and enjoy

1. Open your The witcher 3\bin\config\base folder
2. Open hidden.ini with notepad and change "LockControlScheme=0" to "LockControlScheme=2"
3. Save and exit

Since patch 1.05 you can turn off Control Hints under Options > Video > HUD Configuration. But I advise to lock the scheme anyway, is more efficient

Uninstallation

Just delete the modded input.settings in your Documents/The Witcher 3 folder and play without Xppader or Antimicro. No need to replace anything.

For Controller/Gamepad different from the official 360/One controller

if you are not using the official 360/One controller (wireless or not) you have to emulate it like it were. Use this:




1. Emulate
2. Start Antimicro or Xpadder with the profiles i posted.
3. Play the game

And make sure to overwrite the input.setting in your document\the witcher 3 folder

If you want to modify something:

1: The ## before the lines disable the commad but they will disapper after the frist launch. They are there to make easier for you to understand what I           changed. This is outdated. If you have some requests or questions ask them in the comments section.
2. To make it easier all the new commads are F someting....F3,F4,F6 and so on. Remember to leave F5(quicksave), F1(Camera) and F12(console/screenshot) alone.

It Uses Xpadder or Antimicro

LT = combo key, it does not have any function if pressed or holded alone.

-Signs:
LT + X = Cast Aard
LT + Y = Cast Yrden
LT + B = Cast Axii
LT + RB = Cast Igni
LT * RT = Cast Quen

-Parry, Counterattack, Witcher senses:
RT = Witcher senses (exploration), Parry and Counterattack (in combat) 

-Quick menus
Back = Pause
LT + Back = Journal
Start = Map
LT + Start = Inventory

-Call Horse
LeftThumb = Call horse (single tap not double)

-On Horse (Riding)
All controls vanilla except Combo Key casts Axii on horse and quick menus

-Ciri on Horse (Riding)
All controls vanilla except quick menus

-Quicksave
LT + LeftThumb = Quicksave

-Ciri Controls
RT = Parry and Counterattack
LT = Special Attack 1 (Teleport)
RB = Special Attack 2 (Fireball)
Y (Hold) = Special Attack 3 (Charge)
