this post is correct, however, the chest piece will barely be browned leather, but all in all, it looks great. Id gladly pay the modder for more updates.
Even though this mod isn't working 100% as the author intended for the 1.21 update, I kinda like it much better!
Instead of the armor becoming all brown it now highlights certain parts with the brown color.
For instance, the main chest strap is brown with black underneath, which really makes it pop. All other straps including the waist are brown. The top right shoulder piece is brown, but all of the trim and chest area is black. It also changes the cloth area on the arms from black to grey.
It's really cool looking! I recommend giving it a try and see for yourself.
I am trying to figure out if this is working or not... would you mind posting the before and after photos?
Also, I have a request would you be able to retex the scales on the armor? Make them greener like on the gloves from the same set? I think it would be wicked! Would you be able to do that please? Pretty please?
Have you tried using N.E.W Ursine Armor by DarthIre? I'm using it now and it looks quite nice. However, I'd love to have a high-res retexture with chainmail too.
I've tried them all. The best one is by thin-o-vintage but it has no chainmail. There are no good high res ones that keep the chainmail. Everyone seems to like removing the chainmail because the concept art doesn't have it.
