About this mod
Changes skill requirements so that each skill tree no longer requires investment in that particular tree to reach the next level. The game now accounts for all points invested cumulatively between the main trees (combat, signs, alchemy) when determining if you can purchase the next set of skills for any one of them.

There are three versions:
Easy
Skill requirements are not modified. In essence, same amount of points required to unlock each branch except unlocking one tree's branch unlocks it for all of them
Level 1 skills - 6 points to unlock
Level 2 skills - 12 points to unlock
Level 3 skills - 18 points to unlock
Balanced (recommended)
Skill requirements are increased slightly to balance the fact that you are now able to reach more powerful skills in several skill trees more easily. Reaching the last tier of skills will now require 30 points (up from 18), meaning that you will have to unlock almost two full trees worth of skills to get to the most powerful skills in any of them. I feel this is balanced (or even too generous) considering you should have over 60 skill points just from reaching the end of the main quest, leaving plenty of room to reach the last level of skills.
Level 1 skills - 9 points to unlock
Level 2 skills - 18 points to unlock
Level 3 skills - 30 points to unlock
Hard
A slightly more punishing version, though not much worse than balanced is
Level 1 skills - 12 points to unlock
Level 2 skills - 24 points to unlock
Level 3 skills - 36 points to unlock
Issues:
There are a few visual bugs. You may still see a locked symbol to the right of the skills even when they are available for purchase, and the number of skill points required (to the right of the skill tree next to the locked symbol) will be inaccurate.
Please let me know if you find other issues with any version of the mod.
Installation:
If installing manually:
1) Download one of the three files based on your playstyle
2) Right click, extract all (or "show more options", extract all)

Conflicts:
Any mods that edit PlayerAbilityManager.WS will cause a conflict. They should generally merge automatically with the Witcher 3 Script Merger.
