Update
Minor update to allow mod Aerondight to be transfered to New game Plus via stash.
Basic Structure
The mod creates a quest that operates in the backgound of the main game. As you play the actions / decisions you take are considered against the five virtues namely;
- Compassion,
- Generosity,
- Honor,
- Valor, and
- Wisdom.
Each Virtue has three triggers and you must trigger two of the three to complete the objective. None of the triggers are in Witcher Contract or Treasure Hunt quests and reside completly in Main and Secondary quests. Most are in Velen and Novigrad but a couple are in Skellege for those who like to go there early. Beyond this there are no indications on what quests to do and what decision to take. How you play the game is what matters.
The Reward
On completeing all five virtues you will be directed to a meeting with the Lady of the Lake who will return "Aerondight" to you. The scene is a bit strange as it was my first attempt.
The sword will be at the level you are when you complete the quest and is fully functional with three enhancement slots so you dont need to go to the Rune Wright. During my test play through I recovered Aerondight at Level 16.
How to Start
A History of the Sword "Aerondight" book will be under the Hanged Mans Tree when you first come to Velen. If its not there set the quest to highest priority.
